  1. So I’m hatching ekans with ditto but some are coming out male with the intimidate and shed skin abilities is there any way to make them all have the unnerve? Because I thought that pokemon bred with ditto would always have the same gender and ability as the parent. Anybody know what I’m doing wrong?

  2. Holy crap. I just realized that I played through the entire game of Majora’s Mask with the Kokiri Sword on accident. I forgot you could upgrade it. Welp…am I a cool gamer now?

  3. Playing some Emerald, and literally the Battle Frontier is one of the greatest things Pokemon had ever invented. It’s a huge shame that we never got it in ORAS…

  4. Am I just really unlucky or does smash pots and cutting grass in WW not give magic stuff?
I’ve literally been sailing from island to island smashing pots and cutting grass to get more magic and there’s nothing so far.

  5. Comment Question: In Pokemon Emerald’s Battle Frontier, what was your favorite facility?
Mine is definetly the Battle Facility, it’s very engaging to constantly swap your teams and basically “evolve” it.

    • Your favorite is BAttle Facility? Lol I know what you mean. I
      1. t’s my favorite too. I legit spent 600+ hours in Factory as a kid. And I still go back and play it sometimes.
      2. Arena is second. The fact onevone pokemon battles are only three turns long is so intense. I love it.
      3. Dome. The original Pokemon tournament. Tournament formats are always fun
      4. Tower. (I mean this spot ONLY when I was a kid not Tower would probably be my least favorite). I used to just like battling simply in doubles and see how I do.
      5. Pike. I never went to this facility as much even though it was the easiest. I thought it was fun just didnt explore enough.
      6. Palace. Fun concept, but my pokemon NEVER attacked.
      7. Pyramid. WAYYY too hard for 9 year old me to try more than once

      • Crap, I need to fix that lmao
Anyway, I like your favorites. And I will agree that the Pyramid was too damn confusing and tedious XD. Like all the Pokemon have either Static or Stun Spore to paralyze your Pokemon, plus all the Pokemon had protect so PP had to be used carefully.

    • Yeah, Battle Factory was my favorite as well. It was basically endless hours of entertainment, and you could use Pokemon you normally wouldn’t think of using.

      • Even in Platinum, I had a blast with this facility. Constantly altering your teams to form a perfect combination of 3 Pokemon was great. On top of that, the difficulty was solid because you have no idea what the other Trainer had.

  6. So this is the last Emerald based topic, but I have not the slightest clue what the post-game has other than catching the Weather Trio, Battle Frontier, Latias/Latios, and the Regis. Anything else in the post-game?

  7. Speaking of Battle Frontier, I just remembered something. Like a few weeks or so ago, I had this dream that GF announced they were making DLC for SM adding the battle frontier, but they couldn’t fit it all on the cart (even though that’s not where DLC goes lol), so they had to make it all pixelated, and it was literally just the hoenn battle frontier, but with SM Pokemon. Honestly? I’d be ok with this.

    • Now that I’ve been to the Hoenn Battle Frontier, I would say Hoenn is definitely my favorite out of the two because the large amount of facilities and much more engaging areas makes it a lot more entertaining for the player.

      Reply
    • Hoenn Frontier. Hoenn frontier was much more interactable or lack there of (Palace). The ideas were way more unique too. Sinnoh Frontier still was still battle after battle with only one facility having in battle effects, and it wasnt even unique.

    • Can’t say I favor either. Love ’em both. I think Hoenn has an edge when it comes to unique-ness, but the glitz and glamor has to go Sinnoh’s. Both are fun and should return.

  8. So after Emerald, I’m thinking about going back to rom hacks and play Ash Gray. I’ve heard its a pretty good hack so far.

  9. Thank god I still have my little brother’s old copy of Y… Now I can get my Meowstic! 😀

I’m going to make it the best Meowstic ever. It’s going to be Timid natured in a Dive Ball with its hidden ability. Then I’m going to get a bunch of Ribbons for it! Then I will fix up its IVs in SuMo

  10. I missed out on saying my 6th and 5th Favorite Pokemon, anyway here they are:

    #6 Infernape

Previously, this was my favorite Pokemon, but another one recently became my favorite one. Heck, even my last username included Monferno because I loved it so much. And despite it being a little lower on my favorites, Infernape is still my favorite starter.
A ideal combination of Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, Infernape can deal devastating blows to its opponent in an unexpected fashion. It’s type also benefit from this, as a lot of Fire type moves are special and a lot of Fighting are physical. So, essentially, a balance of both worlds. This really helped me in Pearl and Platinum, as Infernape in all forms kicked ass in whatever stood its way (well, not for Cynthia’s Garchomp, but MOSTLY everything). A kickass starter like that instantly made it one of my favorites, representing the needs as a Pokemon trainer I want for my Pokemon.

    #5 Solgaleo

(From now on, my favorites will include why I like the Pokemon so much, rather than mostly their stats and moves.)
My favorite legendary of all time. As a kid, I always wanted a true Sun legendary. Sure, in some degree, Ho-oh fits the bill, but it never seemed like it. But then came announcement Pokemon Sun and Moon, and along with it (a few months later) the reveal of the legends. When I first saw Solgaleo, I was like: “That is officially my favorite legend, even if its Steel and not Fire.”
Seriously. As the legendary that is an emissary of the sun, Solgaleo is just so badass looking. It’s a mecha lion that possess the power to light up any night to daytime. Plus, Solgaleo is not really a Pokemon, but rather an UB (or alien, basically). On top of that, it has the power to do inter-dimensional travel to go to alternate universe, or even to alien worlds. And its signature move, Sunsteel Strike, hits like an absolute truck. That’s amazing.
Also, its the first legend ever able to evolve.

  11. Tbh one of my favourite things in Pokémon is how each Champion’s theme doesn’t necessarily sound bad ass: it matches the champion and their personality, especially in SuMo where we’re Alola’s first champion and thus use the Pokémon main theme
