Over 5,000 Players Banned for Hacking Pokémon

According to Serebii.net, The Pokémon Company has announced that 5,954 Pokémon Sun & Moon players have been banned for “altered save data”. Although normally nothing to worry about for people who do not try to hack their games, there are a number of legitimately obtained Pokémon/move combinations that can erroneously trigger the system. No cases of false positives ending in a complete system ban have been reported, but it is something to keep an eye out for.

Players will know that they have been banned if the error code 090-0212 appears when they try to connect to online functions. It prohibits participation in Rating Battles, competitions, and Global Missions, as well as use of Game Sync.

Hopefully this will not cause any issues for players bringing in many new Pokémon and movesets from older games via Bank.

The Myth, the Legend, The ruler of Time itself… Dialga! Ever since my first game I owned which was Diamond I wanted and loved it so, and when I finally caught one I was iver joyed I must admit it has a pretty sturdy type, movepool, and a Radical Shiny, and it takes number four!

Hint for Three: Is from Johto and is an addition onto another pre-existing Pokémon

  3. Pokedex Entry: 07
    Bubblebolt
    Classification: Water Spark Pokemon
    Height: 0’08
    Weight: 1’0 Lbs
    Typing: Water/Electric
    Ability: Torrent
    Stats:
    HP: 60
    Attack: 20
    Defense: 60
    Special Attack: 70
    Special Defense: 60

Pokedex Entry: This Pokemon lives deep underwater and surfaces onto land only during thunderstorms. It is rather timid in nature and tends to avoid interaction with people or other pokemon when possible. It is known for creating fields of electricity around itself and zipping about through the water to collect energy and to attack enemies with hit and run tactics. They occasionally latch onto Chinchou to feed on their electricity.

FINALLYYYYY!!! I get to work on this one! And yes, this the water starter…. also this one is easily one of my favorite designs yet

  4. Ooooookayy wow.

So there was a Twitter bot that uploaded images and text posts from the Undertale subreddit. It basically stole a bunch of art because they never asked the permission of the artists. So someone pointed it out and flooded the bot with images explaining that the bot was stealing art and the bot creator stopped it.

Then here comes this random artist messaging me that I ruined their life because they relied on that bot to post their art because they didnt want anyone knowing the original creator was them.

    What is happening

    • Plz let Undertale fandom be a dead meme by 2018

The games wonderful and some fans are awesome but

      The rest of them

      Eww

      • I hate that the idea of this “horrible trash fandom” (The fandom is mostly fine I dont understand why people think its so bad) is taking the spotlight instead of the game.
Because the game is amazing and insanely clever but everyone loves to rave about how cancerous the fanbase is

        • Because even if they’re not the majority, a big number of the fandom are cancerous and genuinely horrible people

They’re just trying to shed light on what other Undertale fans try to sweep under the rug

  6. PRO CONTROLLER GAMESTOP IN STORE PREORDERS

Hopefully they have one left when I get there (earliest would be like 7 or so, ugh). I’ve already missed the online for BB, GS, and Amazon, and I’d really like to have one for BotW (even though having a joycon in each hand and being free to move your arms sounds pretty nice lol).

    • The Phoenix Cave in FF6, the enemies are always op there -_- another section I hate is the cultist tower where you can only use magic with a disappointing boss battle where you just need to cast berserk and then summon phantom and you just automatically win and the reward is way too op and you probably didn’t understand anything that I said :v

    • I can’t think of a personal least favorite, but here’s what comes to mind:
      – Haunted Mansion (SM64)
      – Anything where I’m temporarily blind (i.e. when you can only see during lightning)

Honestly that’s all I can think of, even though I’m sure there’s a bunch of places that I despise.

    • All parts in Zelda games I really dont like the aqua hideout of Hoenn and the underwater cavern. That part is pretty boring

    • I can’t pick a favorite game so…
The entire introduction in Fantasy Life, and
The stretch between Sunnyshore and the E4 in Platinum.

    • Im actually not overly fond of Snowed temple, I still love it and every part of Majoras Mask but its just not my fav. Inkana is clearly the best, second imo is the swamp

        • Don’t get me wrong, it’s probably a fantastic shooter. But it’s just that. A shooter. The only shooter I’ve actually enjoyed is Splatoon, because it feels unique in that the main premise isn’t some sort of war, it breaks other shooter conventions, etc.

Plus the praise it gets is sorta annoying. I’ve played less than my fair share of shooters, but it doesn’t seem all that different from your typical shooter other than it has more well-defined characters and it’s more colorful than the typical grey and brown theme of most shooters.

          • Isn’t every shooter sort of like that? There’s always an objective and you always have a team…
I can’t say for sure, if I’m being honest. Shooters aren’t by any means my genre, so I could be totally wrong here.

            it still sucks tho. 😛

          • No it really isn’t play Call of Duty or Battlefield then go play Overwatch. The only real comparison gameplay wise is that you shoot things in third person

          • I wouldn’t say that, that makes me sound shallow for having an opinion on a game. It’s not like I played 1 game, lost, and never played again. I gave it plenty of time to grow on me, and it never really did.

Don’t be bothered by my anti-Overwatch comments, I’m not trying to ruin the fun for people who enjoy it, I’m mostly just teasing the people here who do. 😛

          • Tbf I’m not into shooters and overwatch is like the only shooter that I like watching gameplay videos, but yeah, that’s probably because it’s more colorful and the characters aren’t something you find in your typical shooter

  7. It’s a shame it seems that interest in the Pokejungle League died down. Maybe for lack of attention? Anyway, if you’re interested, my Gym thread is up on the forums where you can set up a battle! 😀
I’m currently the only Gym Leader set up though, last I checked. So I can’t say how worth your time it would be.
