Directly donating doesn’t work a lot of the time, poorer countries tend to be corrupt or not very sure on what they’ll use the money for
People may not be aware that such a project exists. Doing stuff like this not only raises awareness but also give people easier opportunities to donate by linking it to something they enjoy.

I just returened from the VGC tourney.
As I predicted my gimmicky team made it too easy to reach top 8, but got rekt in the first match of top cut which is a best 2 out of 3…
Winner has an Incineroar in their team, which is super cool. He used it to beat up a team of 2 tapus 1 UB’s…
grats making it to top cut. My understanding of VGC’s point system is a bit limited, but hopefully you were able to earn some points making it to top cut?

Starting VGC ’17, it depends on tournament size. I haven’t memorized it, but I’m almost positive that a 36-person tourney isn’t enough for 5th-8th place to get championship points, sadly.
I’m ok with the performance though, considering it’s a team I put together in a week after I was dissatisfied with my Tapu Lele team.
I got a compliment from the runner up (the one who rekt me in top 8) that my team was crazy and it made him really nervous despite the 0-3 (he also defeated me in pools).

I can see that. Kommo-o weirded me out the first time I saw it, but now it grew on me.
Stat-wise, I haven’t tried Kommo-o that much yet to see what I like about it. I find it’s stats to be a little odd for me. I guess that’s just me wishing it had more speed, but sometimes I feel it would help it out a bit more.
Oh yeah, weird stats. Sp. Attack is surprisingly high and speed would appreciate a few more points

I quit after day 1 and bought it from the batle royal.
Granted, I am comfortable with the battle tree, though…
Took me just a few hours in the battle royal with battle animations off (and actually winning some of the competitions instead of just coming 3rd or 4th). Took another day to get the 6 Power items, but both were worth it.

I refuse to class anything with the ability ‘Beast Boost’ as a Pokemon. They are Ultra Beasts and they can stay in Ultra Space where I don’t have to look at them.

Being battle-able doesn’t make them Pokemon. Pokestar Studios in Gen 5 let you fight non-Pokemon.

They can’t be captured by Poké Balls and are never called Pokémon.
But they’re still catchable, so my point still stands.
Burnet calls them Pokémon, Lusamine refers to ‘Pokémon from other worlds’, and the Pokedex refers to each and every one as a Pokémon.
They have Pokémon types, can be caught in regular Poké Balls, and Pokémon can be caught in Beast Balls.

Only one Pokedex entry (the Moon entry for Nihilego) refers to them as Pokemon. All do however refer to them as ‘Ultra Beasts’ or mention the ‘Ultra Wormhole’.
Being captured in Pokeballs means they are Pokemon-like, it doesn’t mean they are Pokemon. The fact Pokeballs behave differently with them (something that doesn’t happen with any other known creature) also indicates that they are something else.
But arguments are neither here nor there, no argument will convince me to accept them as Pokemon.
So? Even one should be enough.

Humans. Humans are suggested to be related to Pokémon like we are to animals, and thus are Pokémon-like. As far as we know, they can’t be captured by Poké Balls. Due to this, we can tell they’re Pokémon.
Different Pokémon have different capture rates with balls anyway. All it means are that Ultra Beasts aren’t as closely related to other Pokémon, likely due to the change in genes adapting to Ultra Space.
This is literally you being childish and refusing to accept evidence because you don’t like it. Deal with it, we all have stuff in the games we don’t like.

It was pretty long(took a month) and I didn’t think I was going to make it. Sometimes, I even wanted to give up, but I had so much help, it really kept me going! Thank you to everyone on Pokejungle who helped me get so far! It was long, tedious, and sometimes felt unsatisfactory, but in the end it was soooo worth it for the shiny charm! Now to start breeding!

I literally just have to raise it 1 level. I even have Lucky Eggs and Rare Candy.
I prefer to wait until a time when it will be significant because it only happens once.

I’m super close, I’m in the 90% mark for all dexes.
Like, I’m doing trades every now and then to get the non-Gen 7 pokémon, so I don’t have to catch them and evolve them (cause I’ve been doing that again and again since Gen 4), so I just catch what appears in the wild while I play and will only focus on the new pokémon that don’t appear in the wild. If I don’t get all the old pokémon through the GTS, I’ll just transfer some from previous games through PokéBank in January.
