How to catch Togepi, Pichu & more in Pokémon GO!

There are some brand new Pokémon now in the mobile hit Pokémon GO (iOS/Android) for trainers to obtain, as well as a special holiday version of Pikachu starting today.

Pichu and Togepi, both introduced in Pokémon Gold & Silver, can now be hatched from eggs within the game. There are more secrets to discover though, as it seems Cleffa, Igglybuff, Tyrogue (is its evolution Hitmontop available?!), Elekid and Magby can also be hatched from eggs!

Holiday Pikachu can also be evolved into an equally festive Raichu too, so don’t stop training!

    Maybe the movie poster will show what some of the main cast will catch
    Because if they don’t give at least some of the main characters other than Ash new Pokemon I’m gonna be pissed
    Like I see Sophicles owning a Geodude that runs his machines, Mallow getting a Fomantis at some point, Kiawe Marowak has to be a thing and maybe Lana getting a Wishiwashi

    But the only confirmed Pokemon is Pikachu, Rowlett and Litten for ash and Lillie is getting an Alolan Vulpix

  24. What new Pokemon do you like to add in Pokemon Stars? Here is a list that might be useful:
    1. New fossil Pokemon that are native to Alola and are based on a velociraptor (Rock/Poison-type 2-stage) and a stegosaurus (Rock/Ground-type 2-stage).
    2. There will be a third legendary Pokemon that will go with Solgaleo and Lunala (also evolves from Cosmog and Cosmoem)(4th if you count Necrozma).
    3. More new Pokemon, including a new legendary trio with a base stat total of 580 and two more new Mythical Pokemon.
    4. Drampa and Turtonator will get pre-evolutions.
    5. Minior, Pyukumuku, Comfey, and Komala will get evolutions.
    6. Pichu, Pikachu, Exeggcute, Cubone, Growlithe, and Arcanine will get Alolan forms.
    7. There will be Alolan forms of some Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos Pokemon.
    8. New Mega Evolutions

    What Pokemon will be added to Pokemon Z (Generation 6.5)? Here is a list a list that might be useful:
    1. 37 more new Pokemon, including two new legendary trios with base stat totals of 580 and 600 respectively, 1 new Mythical Pokemon with a base stat distribution of 100 (BST of 600), and 4 new legendary Pokemon with Central, Coastal, Mountain, and Southern Kalos Pokedex number of 000.
    2. Southern Kalos Pokedex.
    3. A few new Mega Evolutions
    4. Zygarde 50% Forme, Zygarde 10% Forme, Zygarde Complete Forme, Zygarde Core, Zygarde Cell, and Ash-Greninja will make their appearance in Pokemon Z.

    • Scrap no.6, they won’t add Alola forms to those now. For Pikachu especially as it’s the mascot.
      Everything else I’d be fine with from your Stars list.
      I doubt Gen 6.5 will ever happen, if it does it will likely be as part of something else, akin to Kanto in Gen 2.
