I’m breeding a hustle male Togetic with a ditto, and I’m trying to get serene grace. It isn’t a hidden ability, and all 10 eggs they’ve produced so far are hustle. Am I just unlucky or are there mechanics in play here I’m missing?

I think theres a higher chance of you getting the same ability as the parent. And a very low chance of you getting the other ability.
I had to do the same, I was using a Rock Head Cubone trying to get Lightening Rod.
Ugh, I’ve had to evolve 3 Togepi so far. I don’t want to do a third.
I think it’s about 80% the same ability as the parent.

I’ve barely even been playing the story. Just been exploring and side questing. Did you ever play SS?

The pinnacle of the OoT/3D Zelda formula imo. Fantastic characters. Beautiful art direction. Fantastic addition to the lore. The sky portion of the overworld works similar to WW’s ocean. The ground is like a mixture between exploration and puzzles. The dungeons are all so great. 1 : 1 sword fighting is so fun. The new items are incentive. The overall tone is similar to WW. I can’t sing it’s praises enough. It’s one of those things where when someone tells me they don’t like SS, it’s not that I think they’re objectively wrong or anything, but I know to never give their opinions on the franchise much weight. Skyward Sword was everything it needed to be. I think it was the perfect game to make before overhauling the series towards a more truely open world.
I really want to get around to it soon. I would need to get a Wii Motion Plus Wiimote though but I really need to play it. I’ve heard to many conflicting opinions so I want to see for myself
