It really bothers me that Haunter and Gengar are Poison types..

They were Poison types since Gen 1 though. And Haunter does seem like a Poison, Gengar should’ve been Ghost or Ghost/Fighting.

I know it’s the shadow Pokemon, and I assume it’s no more gas like it’s pre evos. I also believe they should remove the poison type, I may be wrong.

I guess you’re right. But, I feel like they have a Coach-Player/Psychic-Fighting connection in theme. Imagine what their pre-evo would could be. An adorable little Normal-type monkey with a brains/brawns theme. Its evolution can be dependent on its nature. Agressive natures (+Atk, +Sp. Atk, +Spd) would lead towards it evolving into a Passimian while more defensive natures (+Def, +Sp. Def) would allow it to evolve into Oranguru. An interesting concept, no? >:3
I think they should have had separate pre-evolutions, they just don’t feel like they should be standalones and there’s clearly space to design a pre-evolution, like so many standalones this gen. It’s almost as if they purposefully removed some prevos to reduce the pokémon count…
I mean come on, how do a baby orangutan and a cute lemur that lobs berries at people not seem like obvious idea?

I seem to have some sort of affiliation with the Zubat line. I have now seen a shiny Zubat, Golbat and Crobat during the story of a main series game.

hey everyone. i hope everyone is enjoying pokemon sun and moon. it was an incredible game and i am currently trying to do the alola pokedex. i was curious however if anyone has managed to make or get a 6 iv ditto similar to the one that a lot of people used in xyoras. i would like to start iv breeding asap and was wondering if anyone had any extras.
I like the fact that the Sightseer Trainer class uses the original forms of the Alolan Pokemon. It’s a nice touch

No, Tauros and Miltank have each other as relatives in the Pokedex
Same type, same animal, same BST
They’re literally just males and females of the same sort of broad species

All they actually need is a Nidoran style breeding link. This would allow for egg moves on Tauros without needing a baby stage.
Idk that’d be cool but a baby stage would just be better for them
Nidoran was introduced before genders and breeding were and it makes sense they’re like that.
They also have the perfect BSTs to be evolutions

2) If a Pokémon is good enough to be considered to be put in in the first place, it’ll either go in anyway or be delayed (seems to be what happened to Shellos and Gastrodon)
3) Miltank and Tauros, regardless of however early they’re found, are always rare and early or later and uncommon. This could put players off of it.

People have actually complained about then rarer Pokémon in the game, and noticeably its ones that are competitively and in game (their main focus) are pretty strong
I think if you really want to use it you’ll try to find it rare or not. If you don’t know it exists beforehand you may not use it for that reason. Who’s to say it wouldn’t be just as rare? Riolu is usually rare for example.
I know plenty of people whose given up on a Pokémon because it’s too rare and they actually want to get on with the game
Riolu is amazing as an early game Mon though, and wasn’t introduced to make finding Lucario easier-they exist in the same Gen.

Alright so I have a Question for my Fan Region What types do I pick for Eeveelutions here are my combos (Each type is it’s own)
-Bug and Flying
-Ground and Poison
-Ground and Steel
-Rock and Bug
-Rock and Flying
-Poison and Steel
-Fighting and Rock
-Flying and Fighting
So which one do I choose
Type Combos?
No Eeveelution should ever be dual typed
No like for two different ones like one Flying and one Rock and so on so on

Stoneon or Jeweleon a Fox Dog with a large protruding gemstone ears, gem eyes and all sorts of precious metals
And Galeon a Snow White fox with large feathered ears that enable it to move with the wind
They would evolve in the absolute highest point and lowest area in the region
I dunno I don’t feel Stoneone and Jeweleon roll off the tongue as well as Flareon, Umbreon, Glaceon, Leafeon
And Eevee evolves with a new evolution method every Gen, area locations aren’t new-its how Glaceon and Leafeon evolve.
Galeon is an amazing name tho
