  1. I officially LOVE battle royal. I was afraid it would be way too gimmicky, but it actually makes for some interesting strategies, predicting who’s gonna target who. Just had an EPIC battle on battle spot with it, but I can’t find a way to upload the battle video…

      • It was hilarious. At one point, somebody sent out Greninja, which instantly got a KO and triggered battle bond. It was also several levels higher than anybody else’s Pokémon. One trainer successfully landed Hypnosis on it and the next turn became an unspoken agreement to get rid of that Greninja before anything else 😛

  2. So is Ms. Wicke evil or no? I hope no as she does not fit the evil category at all, which is the main reason why I was skepitcla of the Aether being evil idea at first.

  4. So after the second Kahuna my living dex has:
29 Pokémon. With those 29, I have 2/4 Oricorio. 8/18 Alolan Forms. And then I have a female Salandit, a second Grimer, second Fomantis, and second Mudbray that I’m leveling up.

          • Ah then yeah we’re at about the same point. I JUST set foot on the third island. How’s Oricorio? I’ve been curious

          • It hasn’t learned many good moves so far…but it’s been doing good just from using Air Slash, Feather Dance and Roost 😛

          • Glanced at its future movepool and it looks like it’ll improve further. Your bird’s going to be a dancing fool >=P

          • Also, I’ve decided to swap Sherlock for Minior once I catch one. I like Lycanroc but Minior is my favorite Gen VII Pokémon and Lycanroc is the current team member I’m most willing to box (err…’Pelago’)

          • Ahh a placeholder? I understand, my team was full of them except Decidueye for a long time. I almost held onto Crabrawler because I had it so long before I caught Clever Girl

  6. This game’s really trying to make people think lol. First, there was a guy who asked why Sudowoodo didn’t have an Alola form, then Lusamine talks about how Toxapex dismembers Corsolas, then I run into a girl from an earlier island who talks about whether or not Pokemon have consciousnesses inside the PC. Ok, that last one people have been talking about for a while, but when did Pokemon start being all self-aware?

  7. Now that I’m about halfway through the game, I have to say these are my favorite main-series Pokémon games since HG/SS. They just feel so immersive and fresh.

    Bewear – 41
    Salazzle – 41
    Tsareena – 41

    • Do you like Tsareena? Cause I’m seriously considering it. I didn’t realize that I have no combat against water types. Also I hate my Salazzle and want to get rid of it

      Reply
      • yeah, she’s pretty good. trop kick is useful in stopping high atk power pokemon, and acrobatics helps with other grass types. she learns high jump kick later too. what’s wrong with Salazzle, she’s doing alright for me.

  10. I’m broke in games all over again. Why can’t I be fashionable and carry medicine for my pokemon? Anyway, these games are sooooo fun My team hasn’t been set in stone yet it’s just been a rotation of new pokemon but so far what’s set in stone: Dartrix Crawbrawler, and MAYBE Araquanid, These new pokemon are so cool It’s hard to decide which to use. Last thing I have to say, Salazzle legitimately creeps me out, ever since it popped up (you know what Im talking about if you’ve past this) I literally jumped when I saw it. And it’s body shape and the way it stands shudders I might even drop salandit because it creeps me out too much.

    • I think as far as the way it creeps you out is different than this (The body shape doesn’t bug me), but I found a Salandit in a pokefinder once. Every once in a while, the pokefinder pokemon will randomly dash and this Salandit ran right at my camera and it freaked me out. I have a Salazzle on my main team but I THINK I get what you mean. And yeah, the first time one “pops up” was freaky. Didn’t know Pokemon could get that response from me.

    • I did think the way it popped up was a little creepy. But in battle it more so makes me feel uncomfortable the way it has it’s legs spread. Haha

    • I know right there was something about its face that was just unnerving, I’m glad I’m not the only one who was creeped out, it literally looks like it would eat a child

  11. For anyone who’s beaten the game already or just knows:
    1. Is the S.S. Anne present?
    2. Are there any additional postgame facilities or activities that haven’t been revealed yet?
