- Decidueye is Rowlet’s final evolution, Grass/Ghost. New signature move Spirit Shackle prevents foe from switching out
- Incineroar is Litten’s final evolution, Fire/Dark. New signature move Darkest Lariat ignores foe’s stat changes
- Primarina is Popplio’s final evolution, Water/Fairy. New signature move Sparkling Aria heals the burns of those it hits
- Akala Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Lele (Psychic/Fairy)
- Ula’Ula Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Bulu (Grass/Fairy)
- Poni Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Fini (Water/Fairy)
- Tapu Pokémon share a unique Z-Move called Guardian of Alola
- Cosmog is a Psychic-type Pokémon with ability Unaware
- Alolan Persian is pure Dark-type
- Alola is still in the process of building a Pokémon League
- Champions can take on the Battle Tree where they can battle alongside and against famous trainers (Wally, Cynthia, Red & Blue!)

This reveal is kinda suspicious IMO. Why would they blow the final starter evos, a plot-related legendary prevo, all 3 tapus, the battle facility, and the “building a league” thing in one reveal? Sorta makes me think the leaks were intentional, otherwise they would’ve spaced it out a bit more.
The leaks were totally intentional. Look how much they got everyone talking. The leaker probably works for Pokemon or GameFreak and it was all planned… It’s called PR.

It is very out of the ordinary. Sure TPC has now taken most reveals into their own hands, but it doesn’t make sense for them to reveal the starter finals as well as a lot of what we got today so far in advance.
Each the starter reveals, the tapus, and cosmot could’ve been their own reveal, if you threw in a few alola forms or new pokemon, so it seems odd.

So the big question is, does Decidueye have the ability to learn Fly or Flying type moves… cause then I need a Flying type on my Moon team….
I don’t see it not being able to learn flying moves, like Alolan marowak probably still has ground ones
I don’t think we’ll need to Fly in SuMo thanks to Charizard, but if you just want a flying type then it’s probs inheriting a decent amount forok its prevo

I’m quite sure it will still be able to learn majority of Flying Type moves. The game would glitch if the moves were incompatible. Also, Charizard Glide replaces Fly, but the move is a TM now!

there are cats that do have 5 claws on there front paws so it make sense
I’m concerned with it and lycanroc showing a trend of big paws but incineroar’s hind paws are normally proportioned. I think the big forepaws might just be so he can punch better.
This reminds me about how people were convinced decidueye could never become a ground typing, thus losing its flying type. And now look… it’s ghost. 🙂 just goes to show that we should all leave our “patterns, knowledge, and assumptions” behind because no amount of confidence in assuming will guarantee that outcome. It just makes you look like a jerk for arguing soooo wholeheartedly.

Doubt it, there’s three years between Kanto and Johto and two between Unova1 and Kalos, and we know Alola comes after Kalos die to dialogue by Sina and Dexio. And the time between Johto and Unova1 is large enough for someone to get married and have a kid.
There’s also the fact they both look physically older, especially Red.

And who knows maybe they’re not prevo
I theorize that they are in fact Solgaleo and Lunala but the demensioniona distortion brought on by the Ultra Beasts caused a imbalance in the world thus Solgaleo and Lunala are weakened into these feeble forms
And that only after undergoing some difficult hardships their true power reawakens
It’s still a prevo if it goes from one species of Pokémon to another, and Cosmog has a different type, name and ability to Lunala and Solgaleo
What about Hoopa?
It was Psychic/Dark but was weakened into its Psychic/Ghost type
Hoopa and Hoopa Unbound are the same Monster though, This seems to be an evolution Stage instead of a Form.
And looking at it, makes sense, it’s the first stage in the creation of a Star/Planet and by extension a Moon
