Information revealed:
- Decidueye is Rowlet’s final evolution, Grass/Ghost. New signature move Spirit Shackle prevents foe from switching out
- Incineroar is Litten’s final evolution, Fire/Dark. New signature move Darkest Lariat ignores foe’s stat changes
- Primarina is Popplio’s final evolution, Water/Fairy. New signature move Sparkling Aria heals the burns of those it hits
- Akala Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Lele (Psychic/Fairy)
- Ula’Ula Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Bulu (Grass/Fairy)
- Poni Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Fini (Water/Fairy)
- Tapu Pokémon share a unique Z-Move called Guardian of Alola
- Cosmog is a Psychic-type Pokémon with ability Unaware
- Alolan Persian is pure Dark-type
- Alola is still in the process of building a Pokémon League
- Champions can take on the Battle Tree where they can battle alongside and against famous trainers (Wally, Cynthia, Red & Blue!)

Let’s reflect on the most legendary leaks in history. Never before have Pokémon been leaked so early. It excites me how whoever did that will likely never speak up about it. Well I must say, Decidueye’s typing shocked me a little but I’m really happy about it! Primarina and Incineroar aren’t too bad either, albeit predictable.
They probably lost their job too. I’d imagine they were probably pretty deep in the system to have this stuff so early.
It’s also interesting because they were scans of confidential documents. Someone might have intentionally stolen them and posted them anonymously. I just don’t know how it happened.

I wonder if the leak is the sole reason why Gamefreak has revealed these evos today. They haven’t officially revealed the final starter evos pre release in years, have they?
Typically they don’t officially reveal them until just after the games come out. In years past it’s been left up to CoroCoro for it so usually it’s the next month after.
Yeah you’re right. They probably didn’t initially plan to reveal them but changed their minds.
My theory is because there’s going to be another reveal like this where they reveal their alternate forms. Remember last gen where the revealed the mega evos of the kanto starters, then in a different reveal, revealed Mega Charizard X to raise the hype?

These final evos are leaked in June and confirmed after the datamining the demo file. This is a legit thing that Game Freak could give to us.

WOW!!!! Can honestly say I did NOT see that coming. I wouldn’t have thought they’d reveal the final evos until next month. Plus revealing the old characters and that a league is in the process of being built is pretty surprising as well! To be fair tho the most surprising thing from this video is Decidueye’s type! Grass/Ghost? I would have never pegged it for that typing. I’m glad Incineroar is Fire/Dark!! If it had been part Fighting type idk what I would have done…….lol Anyway, anyone else trying to figure out how to say Decidueye? Is it decide-you-eye?

My guess for the league part is that the 7 Trial Captains plus Hau become the Gym Leaders.

See, that’s why I really liked Black Tower in B2. It allowed for a (semi) challenging after game and let you also feel like there was growth rather than just plowing through a mess of people.

There was so much pressure on these games to be great, not just as the beginning of gen 7, but as the 20th anniversary games that celebrate the series as a whole. I gotta say, I haven’t even played them yet but I think Gamefreak have truly done a slam-dunk this time. Sun and Moon look to DIE for.

I do too, at first when the leaker revealed them I was in denial and wasn’t into any of them but they’ve grown on me and I’ve come to really like all three. Plus it’s refreshing to see all three have unique typings.
this, right here, is why I hate that litten evo. I don’t care its type, its just so repetitive to have burly fire starters at this point. I loved delphox, a step in the right direction. litten had such potential. oh well popplios evo rocks.

Seeing Cosmog leads me to believe the other Pokémon in that leaked pokedex is right. I just hope it’s not all of them.

The official website is classifying Cosmog as a different pokemon. If it is anything like Riolu (into Lucario) and Zorua (into Zoroark), Cosmog will evolve into a different pokemon, and not legendary.

It either:
1) Evolves into the one next to it, who then evolves into the legends.
2) Is a Duo with the one next to it and evolves into a Legend.
3) Evolves into the one next to it, but it’s a 2 stage line that summons the legends.
I like option 3 the best Logically so a legendary doesn’t evolve and you don’t need to train it to get the big legend.

I was thinking it was going to be Fire/Fairy as well but I do think it has the best design out of all the Tapus.
For a second I thought the battle tree and the league were the same thing but I guess the trailer was just edited weird. They seem to be separate entities. Maybe this was already obvious.
The Tree only seems to be accessable after the League, both Post Game means we get a good post game

I imagine the league is for regular trainer and the tree is for only those who have proven themselves. Maybe you have to beat the league before challenging the tree. Or maybe the league only becomes complete after you beat the tree in its first form? lol

Seems like maybe they’re going for the Squishy thing the anime went for. Travel around with a pokemon that you don’t know is a legendary… I kind of hope they do that now.
So does that mean we are forced to keep it in our party so that it can eventually become the legend? I agree that I like the idea of the whole Squishy thing, but not sure how they will do it
