  • Decidueye is Rowlet’s final evolution, Grass/Ghost. New signature move Spirit Shackle prevents foe from switching out
  • Incineroar is Litten’s final evolution, Fire/Dark. New signature move Darkest Lariat ignores foe’s stat changes
  • Primarina is Popplio’s final evolution, Water/Fairy. New signature move Sparkling Aria heals the burns of those it hits
  • Akala Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Lele (Psychic/Fairy)
  • Ula’Ula Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Bulu (Grass/Fairy)
  • Poni Island’s Guardian Deity is Tapu Fini (Water/Fairy)
  • Tapu Pokémon share a unique Z-Move called Guardian of Alola
  • Cosmog is a Psychic-type Pokémon with ability Unaware
  • Alolan Persian is pure Dark-type
  • Alola is still in the process of building a Pokémon League
  • Champions can take on the Battle Tree where they can battle alongside and against famous trainers (Wally, Cynthia, Red & Blue!)

  5. I’ve never wanted or really needed multiple versions in a generation, but I so want both Sun and Moon this time around, just to experience the differences between them with different teams. It’s so refreshing that so far, the differences between versions extend beyond a handful of version exclusives and the box legendary. Day vs. Night cycle differences, version-exclusive evolutions (albeit just one), the usual version-exclusives, plus who knows what else! Game Freak has actually put some thought and effort into distinguishing the versions from one another this time and I love it.

  6. The starters are still a trainwreck, but the plot and the characters make up for the mess, everything looks very interesting. They really seem to have made a big effort to deliver a fresh experience this time.
    Ps:The grass3 final name is hideous and grass/ghost is one of the most out of the blue typings ever (but it’s interesting at least)

  7. Imagine Red camping out on Mount Silver for 3 years then being challenged by Ethan/Lyra. After an intense battle, he looses and jumps off the mountain cliff landing on charizard and flying back. He heads back to Pallet Town after a few days and reunites with his mother. After a few years of not battling and living quietly in his home town, he hears about a world wide pokemon championship in Unova, the PWT and decides to get back into battling. There he reunites with Blue and they begin to become good friends. They have both matured and become partners.

    I hope this will be confirmed true

  8. I really want to see art of Primarina and Lorelei considering Lorelei’s name in the English anime was changed to Prima. I think they would complement each other perfectly.

  11. So I never got an answer when I asked this a while ago: Do we battle Red and Blue outside of the Tree? They have 6 Pokemon, and the people of the tree have 3, so it seems they have real battles.

  21. Seriously who’s this “EarthenWarrior” that reminds me so much of a specific PokéTuber (Verlishite). Constant rants, and all that matters is their opinion because in their minds/heads they’re always right.
    — hurrdurr Pokémon suck competitively, I win VGC. Who cares? It’s a game that brings me joy, adventure, it’s an entire world that makes me forget the real, harsh one.

  23. So GF has revealed 60 new pokemon on 73 and 14 Alola Forms on 18. They revealed all legends and Mythical except from Marshadow, all starters lines, all the Alola Form except from Golem line. Now, let’s assume they will reveal at least 3 new pokemon until release,this means that they decided to go out of mind after the demo datamining or that they are pointing everything on the story and on the competitive instead of new pokemon. Because you know I’m the first to think that the pokedex is complete and thinking back to OrAs when we had all new megas before release supports this convintion, but leaving all pokemon in the demo and deleting everything else, reveal almost all new pokemon and in particular all the starters, Silvally and all the legends spoilering that they have pre-evolutions, something that we have never had before, sounds incredible weird.
