  1. So the rumored “rugby monkey” is real, though it’s actually a lemur. OK, I’m expecting the snowman now. Always exciting to see leaks get confirmed!

  2. What I want to know: Is Passimian’s ability only relevant in doubles when there’s a partner, or can it work in singles when it takes out an enemy?

  3. Did anyone notice in the Jap trailer how in Amie the Pokemon was different when Pikachu returned to it? Like it was darker with a sticker? Are seals from Gen IV Back?

  4. The “monkeys” don’t look like they’ll have evolutions, and the wolves are already a final form (which is a pity). I wonder if their stats are gonna be too lame, because it’d be a waste of good designs.

  5. I’m scared about the fact that hoard battles have yet to be mentioned. Are going to go back to the old fashion way of EV training?

  6. Hopefully October gives us that snowman or another ice type. This is getting ridiculous. How many fairy, fighting, and normal do we have now? Are those the most populated types of the alola region so far!?

  8. Passimian could be another Totem Pokemon, It’s description does mention being in groups and leaders giving orders – or maybe it it’s not a standalone Pokemon and does evolve, it could be the fighting type Totem (if that’s something that will come to pass – might even gain the Ground type as “leaked”)

    • I’m thinking it’s more in the realm of crabrawler and tortunator which I think will get prevos if anything. Also, 8 don’t think wishi washi is the totem. I think it’s the pokemon that is angry or something as part of the trial. What would wishiwashi send in? More of itself?

      • Well I guess totem Pokemon don’t have to send in their pre-evolutions. I mean in School form, it’s an intimidating Pokemon and I mean sure it could summon any Water Pokemon in the ocean for help

    • I’m thinking Passimian and Oranguru will both be Totem Pokémon. It’d be cool if they appeared in the games that they weren’t exclusive to as Totem Pokémon; you would just be able to see them, not catch them

      • I was thinking that the two could be another version exclusive totem Pokemon. I was just going off the idea that there are 18 totems/captains all representing the types (as in Gumshoos and A.Raticate are both Normal)

  9. At least we know now that the Chinese leak is a pretty good guide that the starters are gonna have differed evolutions depending on your version.

  10. I can’t tell if I like Oranguru or not… I mean, enough to add to one of my teams… Which will probably be the Rowlet, Salandit, Drampa, Raichu and Mimikyu team (which means Mudsdale gets replaced with Oranguru….). Thoughts? Should I swap?

    • I mean its your call, IMO you have Raichu whom is then also a Psychic now in SM, so personally I’d leave your team as is unless you get both.

      • True! Forgot that. What about on my Popplio team…. Which is Popplio, Ninetales, Oricorio (Baile Style), Bewear, Lurantis and I’d replace Palossand with Oranguru.

        • Good solid plan there! I’m planing to use Sun as my main game with Pikachu, Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Lycanroc, and Passimian. Mean while my Moon team looks to be a fitting rival (as well as being the butt monkey game where I can try to use it to get the version exclusive mons and maybe forms for some starters with a Rare Candy help of couse XD)

          • I’m waiting to see the starter’s evolutions. If I like all three I’ll have two Sun versions and one Moon version.

            Sun 1 (Cosimo):
            Litten
            Lycanroc
            Komala
            Oricorio (Sensu Style)
            Jangmo-O
            Crabrawler

            Sun 2 (Aurora):
            Popplio
            Bewear
            Oricorio (Baile Style)
            Lurantis
            Ninetales
            Oranguru

            Moon (Jeff):
            Rowlet
            Raichu
            Drampa
            Mimikyu
            Salandit
            Lycanroc or Mudsdale

    • Obviously because it’s full, Pokemon wont accept any Pokepuff once its full, you’ll have to play a few mini games with it before you can give it more Pokepuffs. 😀
