The Official Pokémon site has just updated with information for Pokémon Sun & Moon. The update contains details on the new Ultra Beasts announced in CoroCoro earlier this week.
New Information
- Official artwork of UB-02 Beauty and UB-02 Absorption released
- Screenshots of the two new Ultra Beasts in action
- UB-02 Absorption will appear in Pokémon Sun, the Ultra Beast’s entire body is covered in muscle and punch using the full power of it’s muscle strength is said to be immeasurable. UB-02 Absortpion also uses it’s “harder than diamond” probiscus to attack
- UB-02 Beauty will appear in Pokémon Moon. The Ultra Beast is said to attract Pokémon regardless of gender, though it is unclear how it does this. UB-02 Beauty is capable of extreme speeds and can move fast enough to avoid lightning strikes
More Pokémon Sun & Moon news will be released on September 20th at the same time as today: 9am EDT, 6am PDT, 10pm JST, 3pm CEST and 2pm BST.

Remember guys when info was hard to get? Remember when we had to wait a year to get Pokemon (ex. the most wanted remakes, Heart Gold and Soul Silver were a year away from people in the US). Yeah, tbh I kinda expected this. But lets see what the 20th holds.
Why would you expect this? Literally every time since the first Sun and Moon trailer, we’ve gotten English and Japanese trailers and site updates for every announcement.
Not really remember when sun and and moon were announced and how long we had to wait for anything.

I should clarify (as I am sick with a flu XD) I did expect one tbh, but I wasn’t expecting much information this time. Aww well, on the bright side we may see some info on the anime this thursday.
I used to see most new stuff in magazines only once or twice before the games released and then anything else I either saw in the anime or when the games came out. I am very patient though, and the Rockruff evolutions were enough for me for now.

This is certainly not the Pokemon that I grew up with and loved. I starting to debate once again whether or not to even get my hands on either game, just like I did while they were revealing Gen VI…
There are other fun games out there, if Pogeymans is no longer for you, then go for the other games. Free time is precious.

You might as well buy the tickets. They won’t show starter evolutions before the last month or at all.

Version exclusive is odd if they’re not Catchable eventually, which I doubt.
It’s also odd if UB-02 is Lusamine, though they are said to change forms

My theory is it’s a Magma/Aqua thing. Maybe Lusamine transforms in Moon but not Sun
It occurred to me that it might be like Rockruff when it evolves, as in, Solgaleos power causes the Sun form, and Lunalas power causes the Moon form

Well Derek from GameXplain also said that YouTube may have a flow causing the video to freeze, but its his guess. I just think that they thought the UB info and Rockruff’s evo was too little for a trailer. Let’s see what the 20th brings.

after watching the screenshots, I really REALLY hope that our goal in the game is to destroy the ultra beasts once and for all and send them back to megaman world or where ever the hell they belongs cause they are definetly not pokemon, not even releated to their world
It’s pretty obvious that that’s what the goal will be at this point. We know they’re not Pokemon, they don’t behave like Pokemon, and they’re a threat to human and poke life
