Lusamine being the main antagonist would be perfect way to enter in the first female evil team leader. but my boi guzma tho 🙁
ooh why not both
Team Skull looks more like that team which is doing bad things but has good intentions with it. Aether looks like heroic people but low key evil tho
I just wanna wear a team skull outfit so bad
I would kill if they sold the hat and mask on Pokemon Center
SAME
I really hope she is the villain
No I wanna be her friend and learn her hair secrets 🙁
im honestly going to be really upset if Guzma is thrown on the back burner. its already disappointing to see that gladion gets a special battle intro while Guzma is stuck with the standard one for all trainers. I want to see team skull make a huge impact in the story and alola region.
Me and one of my BFF’s are gonna playthrough the game together first day, so I’m pretty excited
Congrats. Do a race!
Maybe another time XD, we tend to explore :3
Hmm… skim through dialogue, and explore faster? 🙂
Well yeah I guess we all need to take it slow and enjoy the story…
Like, the entire game?
I doubt the whole game since a lot of exploring will be going on XD
True! I’m most excited for that part
XD
Me and my friend will probbo use two entirely different teams
What if both of you decide to use the same member? Is this like “I pick Mudbray/Mudsdale first, you are banned from using it!” 😀
that’s my friend and I do. we’ve been doing it since d/p/pt. so far he’s forbidden from using either popplio or litten we haven’t decided yet, lurantis, bewear, especially bewear, and ninetails. I’m forbidden to choose wimpod, crabrawler, rowlet, and sandslash.
I doubt we will XD, we already got teams picked out
I guess! It usually takes me 50-60 hours to beat a new main series game for the first time because of exploration…
True!
my old roomate and i will probably gonna do the same. im hyped
I just want UB 40 Red Red Wine…
Why has no one else punned this… BUMP

I dunno man, it kinda looks like Plankton (who is actually not a plankton), and something else…
Huh…

Am i the only one that thinks these ultra beasts look like shit. Really lowered the hype bar for me. Still stoked to play the game. Just these designs are SO BAD. They do not fit in the Pokemon universe.
Long live Kalos
I think that is the point: they aren’t from the pokemon universe. I have a feeling they are some h.p. lovecraft elder god/outer god things. ya know, beings beyond our comprehension and understanding.
We want Pokemon. If we can’t put those in a baseball-size capsule, it’s not worth our time….
Now, in all seriousness, I’m kinda iffy about this “Ultra Beast” thing, not design wise, but lore… I don’t think we need something like this in the games, what this makes for Arceus, who is supposed to be the God of Pokemon?
Kinda strange…
I say give it a go with an open mind. if you don’t like it then, then hey, you gave it a fair chance and can say that. you might even end up liking the concept.
Oh,but I am. It hs just strange, but can’t wait until November.
Arceus is the God of Pokemon. Ultra beast aren’t Pokemon so… Maybe the dimension they’re from has a different “creator”
What do you want them to look like? They’re not even from our demension? Of course they look weird
Why? I mean for once we actualy have a story and people are still complaining.
Honestly, the general consensus on the UB’s seems to be meh. Nobody is thrilled they are included- nobody asked for something like them. They’re designs are alright. They’ve added some level of intrigue and upped the hype a little. But honestly, I’d rather discuss new Pokémon than the UB’s.
I for one cant wait to see how they integrate into the story. I feel we are in for something special in sun/moon
I don’t mind them, tbh. It seems to me like a lot of the criticism is centered around ‘but they don’t look like normal Pokemon’…well yeah, because they aren’t Pokemon. They’re clearly more of a plot device/NPC thing. If people don’t like them, that’s cool, but they should at least understand what they are/aren’t before hating them.
I personally think it’s intriguing that the UBs are not introduced as Pokemon, yet Type Null is. Someone is clearly playing God in these games and I’m dying to know what’s going on. Usually I’m only interested in the new Pokemon/region in pre-release season, so it makes a change to be interested by the plot too 🙂
I’m actually pretty excited for them. And I don’t mind their inclusion in the story only because they give us a new and interesting enemy to fight

i have a theory that we wil get 8 or 9 Ultra Beasts. I think that the ultra beasts are based on the 7 deathly sins or the 9 circles of hell. I also think that we might get a rat Ultra Beast or/and a fly Ultra Beast. XD
I see we’ve been denied a countdown timer… I totally blame the last reveal.
