Wild Chansey evolved to help heal injured pokemon using using the various herbs in the surrounding areas. Losing the egg over time, it now uses its pouch as storage for medicinal transport.
And then if you want to spin it further, wild chansey could maybe become some sort of shaman type thing, with part ghost type. I actually think normal/grass with something like the above thing could work

-Misty: I just love her from the anime and manga. She used to be one of my favorite characters ever when I was young.
-Alder: Had a really nice arc in B/W and mains Volcarona! Woo!

-Cynthia: amazing battler 🙂 Defeating her Garchomp in D/P still haunts my 11 year old dreams
-Karen: Original dark trainer and I like her line about using the pokemon you like 🙂
-Siebold: I just really like his design.
-Red: A likable protag in the manga and then battling him in HG/SS is epic
-N: Although his full name is kinda dumb, I like his design and his role in both B/W and the sequels
-Cyrus: The best evil team leader, imo. I just love Gen 4 and team galactic. I always thought his philosophy about emotions was interesting and could kinda even see where he was coming from, even if he was evil. I think he just needed more love as a child
-Prof Juniper: She’s so helpful and kind to the protags
That reminds me, I just watched the episode during the Hoenn seasons where Misty returns, and I was so emotional. Her demeanor was so grown up, and the nostalgia just kicked me in the feelings. ;-;
I can’t wait to get to that part. I might cry when togepi evolves

No, the tournament automatically puts them at 50 regardless of level. I’m going in with a level 17 pokemon actually

I always knew they change to Level 50, but I didn’t know the stats change as well 🙂
I didn’t know either, so don’t feel too bad. I always train my Pokemon to at least level 70 just for the heck of it and to be on the safe side.

I just recently replayed LG. I went against my usual Chamander and chose Squirtle though.
I think it’s really stupid that Nintendo shut down the online features of the old games! Don’t they realize that lots of people still play them???
While it does suck, it’s understandable. Keeping those online features isn’t exactly free for them and its really hard to justify keeping them up when they’ve long been replaced and the number of users who would use them is abysmal.
I know, it just sucks that I can’t play with some of my old friends because they don’t have the new games and they live far away.
Their old Nintendo WFC was a partnership with GameSpy. When GameSpy’s servers shut down, they had no choice but to also shut down their services.

Okay here’s a story that’s kinda pokemon related and kinda not.
When I was little I liked the name Lorelei (and even though I’m gay I find girls with glasses to be cute) so I decided I was going to name my daughter that because it was a pretty name. Fast forward 15 years and my cousin names her first daughter Lorelei and I’ve learned how it’s a pretty name… If you don’t live in the south with a southern accent. 🙁
Maybe that’s why I like her too. Always been fond of girls with glasses….honestly I think glasses make a lot of people more attractive in general.
