Shigeki Morimoto is set to appear in a special broadcast at Gamescom where he will present a live gameplay demo of Sun & Moon. The fact it is a live demo leads me to think it will be early game footage again so not much new and no confirmation of mega or hm’s sadly so a few new areas and maybe 1 or 2 new pokemon would be nice!

No it’s just a demonstration of the game live, I misused the term demo. So a select part of the gameplay that they will allow him to play through. So to avoid any major spoilers it will be restricted to early parts I would assume. Could be totally wrong mind you.
Idk if I see the point of them simply playing that starting demo again. When they did it at E3 it wasn’t a closed doors situation and everyone could see it happen. It would be almost useless for them to show it again, only with a different person playing it. (I realize they technically did with Masuda, but that was different lol) Anyway I think this’ll be different. I don’t know how much will exactly be revealed, but I can say that this will be certainly different from what we saw two months ago.
I wasn’t meaning that same demo, I just meant to avoid different spoilers that would be found on future islands I thought they would keep the demo to the first island maybe just a bit further on than that original demo if you get what I mean?
Well either way we haven’t seen the other side of the island so that could be fun right? lol

It’s like the grand order of things now, the world goes round, the sun comes up, and Ash and Pikachu never wins. Though they were close, the anime would not be the anime if Ash became a Pokemon Master, because if that happened, then the company would be out of a mascot. When they should have had new mascots just like Digimon in the first place!

The Nintendo House Party at Gamescom was always held in german in the past years. Even the Pokémon Tekken Event with Morimoto 2 hours ago. He was very good with gestures xD and had an earpiece plus translator 🙂

To Morimoto: How did you come up with the idea for the battle royale?
One reason was to develop a fight system for more players to enjoy. Also, he wanted that anyone could win, not only the best player.
Any player has to take down as many pokémon as possible for points, displayed as stars.
Morimotos translator told his first attack will be a special one.
