  1. I hope we can revisit kalos, there’s still so many unanswered questions like the Pokemon war and wtf AZ. And does anybody have a feeling that the zygrade forums and ash greninja are going to be anime exclusive? Cause if so that’s so dumb.

    • Yeah but.. I dunno.. that would take a Lot of work.. the graphics updated.
I’m sure they will handle All of this including anime things in the new games.I mean alola

    • It’s kinda dwindling
Unless they pull a whole ORAS on us just to let this game simmer and extend a unsung story leading to one bananza game

    • I was really hoping these games would connect back to XY, because those games and Kalos feel really under-developed in comparison to previous regions and games. Makes me mad cause I actually really liked Kalos and it’s French inspiration. Maybe they’ll give us a third version as a surprise move after Sun and Moon lol.

  2. Info from official site:

    Solgaleo
    Sunne Pokémon
Since ancient times, Solgaleo has been honored as an emissary of the sun. It is referred to with reverence as “the beast that devours the sun.” Solgaleo’s body holds a vast amount of energy, and it shines with light when it’s active. It has a flowing mane with a remarkable resemblance to the sun. Its signature move is Sunsteel Strike, an attack that charges at an opponent with the force of a meteor, disregarding the target’s Ability.

Solgaleo’s Ability is Full Metal Body, a new Ability that no previous Pokémon has had. With the Full Metal Body Ability, a Pokémon’s stats will not be lowered by the effects of an opponent’s moves or Ability.

    Lunala
    Moone Pokémon
Since ancient times, Lunala has been honored as an emissary of the moon. It is referred to with reverence as “the beast that calls the moon.” Lunala is constantly absorbing light and converting it into energy. With its wings spread to absorb the surrounding light and glittering like a crescent moon, it resembles a beautiful night sky. Lunala’s signature Moongeist Beam attack releases an ominous beam of light that disregards the target’s Ability.

Lunala’s Ability is Shadow Shield, a new Ability that no previous Pokémon has had. With the Shadow Shield Ability, a Pokémon will take less damage from an attack that lands when the Pokémon has full HP.

    Alola Region
Your new adventures in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will take place on the tropical islands of the Alola region! The Alola region centers around four islands rich in natural beauty and an artificial island. Many Pokémon that have never been seen before occupy these islands.

    Professor Kukui
Professor Kukui is the Alola region’s dependable Pokémon professor. He lives near your home and looks out for you. He’s passionate about his research into Pokémon moves and has sometimes taken direct hits from Pokémon when there was something to be learned from it. Sporting a white lab coat slung casually over his bare torso, he shows off his own unique style.

    Lillie
Lillie is a mysterious girl who assists the professor. This young girl is about the same age as your character, and she’s working as Professor Kukui’s assistant for personal reasons. She’s not fond of making Pokémon fight in battles, but she loves reading and has devoured many books. Lillie will play an important role in the story of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.

    Hau
Hau is a Pokémon-loving young boy with a big appetite! He’s the same age as your character. When you move to the Alola region, he makes friends with you right away. He has a real weakness for malasada, a famous treat in the Alola region, and he is always in search of malasada shops. He is a big-hearted boy who really loves Pokémon.

    QR Scanner
In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, there is a QR Scanner function that allows you to see information about Pokémon when you scan QR Code patterns. With the QR Scanner, you scan in a QR Code and check the information about the Pokémon that corresponds to that QR Code. There are QR Code patterns in various places all around you, so try scanning them.

By scanning in special QR Code patterns you can register Pokémon of the Alola region to your Pokédex and find out where they live. If you scan in the QR Code for a Pokémon that you haven’t yet caught, you can check its habitat and search it out.

You can display the QR Code patterns for Pokémon you have caught in your own Pokédex. If you and a friend show each other the QR Code patterns for Pokémon you have caught, you can both register the Pokémon in your Pokédexes!

    The Rotom Pokédex
The Pokédex is a convenient tool that records information about the Pokémon you see and catch during your adventure. In Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, your character receives a special Pokédex from Professor Kukui to support you in your travels. It’s known as the Rotom Pokédex, and it’s inhabited by Rotom, a Pokémon with the power to reside in various electronic appliances. It does much more than record Pokémon info—it sparkles with its own personality. The Rotom Pokédex shows your current location and your next destination, and it also gives you advice on where to go next, based on the conversations you have with others! It’s likely to be of great help to you in many parts of your adventure.

The Rotom Pokédex is an extremely rare device. There are only a few Trainers that have one, even in the Alola region.

  3. The only real problem I have with the burst concept is that we just got mega evolution, a very game changing concept, so it seems too early to have another form changing mechanic.

  4. I’d like to know what these new bracelets are. If it allows forced Mega evolution without stones, I’m forever done with VGC

  5. So who’s willing to bet that the 15th they show off the new bird and dog Pokemon. I can see either the demo that will play being a normal starting area that is actually in the the game or a demo area built specifically for the Tree House. Either way they would probably show off the starting route Pokemon and I think that’s what the bird and dog are.

  6. I would like to make a Anti-Synchro statement
It is beyond a waste of time
We already have a game shifting mechanic that is literally the same exact thing
But people are so caught up with wild accusations to see clearly

Mega Evolution and this so called Synchro evolution is literally the same thing, unleashing the bonds between trainer and Pokemon to unlock a new form and enhanced abilities and strength, but you see the word synchro and go nutty, Mega Evolution may even be this synchro evolution in the Alola region, maybe it doesn’t exist at all, I’m saying just because we have a Bracelet on the protagonists you all just went synchro nuts and flew to conclusions when it could have nothing to do with it all. So in conclusion please just try to stay level headed and think rationally about this

(And I got to go back to work, I’ll rant later)

  7. Can we just take one moment to visualize that this STUD of a professor just stands in front of pokemon so he can study their moves!

  8. That was an awesome announcement! I think this might be the best Pokemon game in terms of graphics!
I really like the female main character’s design. it’s adorable!
Most likely our other rival is the character we didn’t pick and they choose the starter that’s strongest to ours.
Hopefully with the full panoramic view and the fact that everything is no longer chibi sized, we don’t have too much empty spaces as we’re travelling in Alola. It would suck if we can roam around and there’s not much to see.
    Overall, i can’t wait!

  9. I don’t know if anybody else has pointed this out yet, but WHAT IF the mysterious assistant is the ghost girl seen in X/Y and ORAS?

  10. Why the fuck does Verlis try to keep salvaging his fucking stupid Ho-Oh and Lugia theory? Someone get him off of YouTube.

  11. Maybe we fees our Pokemon a variation of malasada.. which are kind of like Donuts which Hau Loves! A Hawaiin thing.. like The Macaoron or however you spell it was in XY France

  12. You guys.. it seems Room is here to compete with YoKai watch.. a monster that helps with personality but doesn’t battle. But.. in 5th gen Oak already was very interested in room for some reason..

  13. I hope this means we get a surge of new moves.. because of the professor..
I mean.. he can’t be studying completely old moves.. can he? Likely just the legends attacks I guess.. but I can dream
Maybe there are more attacks that induce evolution again

  14. This is pretty good, we got a lot of good info. Now we know that we’re gonna be getting pretty good info on a regular basis. I was expecting Pokémon, but this’ll do for now.

  15. Something I would love to see in a Pokémon game is a difference in pokemon size. Like maybe you’d get a miniature Litton that’s 3 inches smaller than another.
