The hour has come; we’re about to learn more about the next generation of Pokémon games coming to the Nintendo 3DS: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Below we’ll be providing a text version of what is shown in the video (likely a livestream). Please remember that you must refresh the site to see any updates. UPDATE: A new official mini-site for Pokémon Sun & Moon has been launched here.
We will be embedding the video above so you can watch it right here while “live commenting” your thoughts below or watch it on the Japanese Pokémon YouTube account! Here’s what we’ve learned:
- Grass starter is Rowlet; “Grass Quill Pokémon” w/ ability Overgrow. Also knows new low-level Grass-type attack “Leafage” that is available from when you receive it
- Fire starter is Litten; “Fire Cat Pokémon” w/ ability Blaze
- Water starter is Popplio; “Sea Lion Pokémon” w/ ability Torrent
- Alola Region
- Release date is November 18 in NA/JP and November 23 in EU

*mentally prepared for announcement how next month will have HUGE news*
If it’s a live stream I’m surprised they haven’t set it up already.
I think it’s just going to be a video.
It would make sense for them in that case to just drop it then
My class starts just when the video drops. I am not going to be paying attention
