The Pokémon World Championships are being streamed online and you can watch in the below player. What a time to be alive! It begins at 9AM EST which is half an hour from now!
UPDATE: The first major announcement is the release of Pokkén Tournament for the Nintendo Wii U. New character Pikachu Libre confirmed, coming Spring 2016
<3 PJ
Good morning, everyone! This is going to be great!
Yesterday, I went to Battle Resort for the first time and people there were talking about Pokemon World Championship. I freaked out thinking Pokemon World Tournement from BW2 is back, but then I realised the truth. It’s so sad. PWT was the best post game thing ever.
Legit can’t wait
I get the feeling that, with Worlds being such a competitive scene, they might announce Pokken for Wii U for the West, and next year, they will have a whole new section of Worlds for Pokken 🙂
Masuda 10 minutes before the show:
“Shortly after the opening ceremony begins! ! Oh , I’ve been pounding !”
I wonder why?
I wonder if this means the announcement, if there is one, will b after the opening ceremonies rather than during. lol
I am almost 99% sure we’re getting a big announcement. I’ll eat cereal without milk for breakfast if we don’t.
…with nails?
Yeeeaaahhh.
Ur quite tough there guy lol
So ready for this!!!! So ready for a crushing disappointment…….lol Seriously tho….CAN’T WAIT

It’s time.

Jeez, this opening is like the Olympics.
Why…why is there no screen behind them?
They can still play it like they did for the intro!
I’m thinking the screen is just off to the side or something.
Special announcement time!

Trollfreak strikes again
OMG this is almost too funny to b disappointing lol
kek
I’m just going to go die now, see you later.
Knew it… Guessed this last night,
So you’re making a game called Pokken, and you are not including Hawlucha. Instead, you’re including stoopit Lucha Pika
I seriously cannot believe it. I’m totally going to get Pokken Tournament, but this goes against everything we thought we knew!
I find this hilarious lol
Guess your friendly neighborhood Dice got it right on the money, unfortunately.
I just knew it inside when I read your comment, but I didn’t want to admit it. The question is, when are we getting our main game announcement? ;_;
inb4 closing ceremony announcement for the announcement.
You never know, maybe even now but most likely during closing by the looks of it.
We still have to see Ohmori and Masuda!!!
Yeah don’t worry there’s still hope
I get the feeling they’re playing us right now.
They are. It’s probably just a massive “fuck you”‘to literally EVERYONE since a new game announcement is literally inevitable.
Has Masuda always come on stage to say something?
Unfortunately not. The schedule seems to remain with events starting at 6:30am PST. Guess expecting even a 30 minute briefing is a little much. 🙁
That was one weak ceremony, I can’t even remember what anyone said.
I think what makes me more upset is the fact that I had to get up at 6:00 for this bullshit, lol.
Sounds about right
i thought the game was already coming to wii u
No just arcades, but now I guess it’s official lol
oh well, im gonna end up buying it anyway
Same here lol
Called it.
Same, lol.
Always expect a let down when it comes to Nintendo and Pokemon.
