The day you’ve all been waiting for is finally here! (Aside from those of us who have to wait just a little longer.) The first stage of the release for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire starts today, fans in the US, Japan and Australia can finally get their hands on the game after years of wishful hoping, and months of anticipation. Trainers in Europe can expect to get their mitts on the games when they release on November 28.
For those of you who have already picked up the game, we hope you are enjoying it! In this article we invite all of our readers, whether old or new to join in and discuss the games. What starter Pokémon will you/have you chosen? What are you most looking forward to in the games? How are you celebrating the release (outside of playing the games, obviously!)

I have to admit, even with the EXP. share on, I’m having a few difficulties. The trainers just seem a lot stronger for some reason. NOTE: I AM facing all the possible trainers as well.
Exp. Share seems to be nerfed actually. It splits the shared experience.
Didn’t it do that before in X and Y?

It still works the same way: any pokemon who battle receive full EXP and those that don’t receive half of what those who battled receive. I am finding things the same as you but that is mainly because i am rotating my team like crazy so none are over levelled so its proving to be a nice steady challenge for me 😀
I’ll go test. It really feels like they level so slow, like less than half of what the lead gets.

I don’t doubt it. That thing was hard to catch AS A LEVEL 3 for me.

Guys I need help, so I want to continue playing and not risking my first ORAS shiny being an uncatchable Poochyena. But I also don’t want to give up. I was thinking I would stop at 400 SRs then continue the game. Should I?
I would also MM a shiny Mudkip if I don’t end up getting it.

Honestly, they should shiny lock it lol, they shiny lock everything but the one that’s uncatchable and would terrorize players if they found one

Play the game- you can MM for a shiny native Mudkip later.
It would have been nice to play through with a shiny but that’s what I’ll do then! 😀
You could be at it for days… weeks even and the longer you carry on the harder it will be to stop and you’ll never get to start the game.
That and I’m gonna hunt for my team in the shadow DexNav thing so it’ll take forever ;_;

Ok so far I’m on route 110 and the extra part of 103. I’m loving these games! The only problem is I found a Poochyena with Fire fang, but he has no place on my team….eventually we will part dear friend until then he can help my Skorupi I hatched level catch up to my Marshtomp and Shroomish lol
