Eon Ticket to be Sharable Via StreetPass

Good news for future Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire owners! The Eon Ticket which allows access to Southern Island, and subsequently the chance to catch Latios or Latias, will be able to be shared to other 3DS users via the 3DS’s StreetPass feature. This allows those who are unable to get a code or download will be able to through friends or strangers that did. The code doesn’t expire.

How the Eon Ticket will first be distributed has yet to be announced for English fans, although there will be codes for Japanese gamers in a CoroCoro publication.

  1. Hypothetically: IF Zoroark had a mega, would it’s ability be Impostor, or an new ability? I’d like for it to have a new ability where it can copy either the opponent’s moves or your own Pokemon’s moves (bar signature moves and such) if they are last in your party. Second to last if Zoroark is the last one.

  2. Wait, you don’t get a Lati post game? I thought you find Latios/Latias depending on your game and get whichever one you don’t have access to in your version using the Eon ticket? I thought I read this somewhere, may have misread it, though haha

  3. I’m really excited to see what Gamefreak has done with Mauville City (New Mauville). So far it appears to be an all-indoor facility…? Don’t quote me on that, but that’s what it looks like to me.

If an all indoor thing does replace Mauville City, I wonder how it would be replaced. Like, did they just tear down the buildings and make an indoor facility? Did a flood wash up the buildings and leave New Mauville from the original games exposed? Or maybe Wattson finally went through his originally-cancelled plans for a Mauville City revamp? Only time can tell.

    • Well presumably (within these games) a regular Mauville City (like that in R/S/E) never existed. It’s not a sequel so we have to assume that this Mauville is what has always been.

  4. If you can get it via streetpass then give the code to 1 person in Japan and watch it spread like a virus. For people who live in countries where streetpass is irrelevant, give the code to everyone!

  5. The pokemon official website states:

“If you want an Eon Ticket—the item in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire that will allow you to catch Latias and Latios, respectively—be sure to turn on your Nintendo 3DS family system’s StreetPass function. That’s because the only way you can get the Eon Ticket right now is if it’s passed to you by someone who already has it! Once you have the Eon Ticket, you can revisit Southern Island in your game, where you can then catch the Legendary Pokémon that you would not otherwise have a chance to catch!

Some lucky Trainers will be the original Eon Ticket holders, who will kick off sharing the Eon Ticket with others in their area. In the United States, Play! Pokémon League Leaders will be given codes to distribute to participants at nearly a thousand Pokémon League locations.

So keep your StreetPass on and hang out with other Pokémon Trainers to get your own Eon Ticket! We recommend that you spend time at Pokémon events such as tournaments to improve your chances of getting it. Good luck!”

    Revist Southern Island?
Looks like Southern Island will be available to go to at least one time before the Eon Ticket!

    • In other words :
F*ck those who live outside selected countries
F*ck those who can’t attend events.
F*ck those who actually really want and deserve it, they can wait.

      • You have a higher chance then anyone of us.
You are the manager of a GameStop, a gaming store.
This is just for the US, there is a Streetpass way to get it in Europe.
        ((Check http://www.serebii.net))
Anyone can walk into your store with the Eon Ticket. Just make sure you have your DS closed.

        • No. GameStop here doesn’t get it. Check serebii. Once again I’ll say Gamestop here DO NOT get these events. Also the street pass way works everywhere, and it has a much bigger chance hitting the USA first than here. Simple.

          • Gamestops anywhere don’t get it.
No gamestops in the world get it, unless one of the workers recieves it through Streetpass from another person and then passes it on.
That’s what I’m saying for you.
Someone with the eon ticket might walk into your GameStop, and if you have your DS and both are closed, you will recieve the eon ticket.
Anyone can walk into a GameStop, they can be from anywhere.

          • That’s what I just said in my comment all you did was repeat what I said…. and your still ignoring the fact that the code has to reach the country first ! In which it will hit the bigger ones first. You need to realise this 😛

          • Inb4 Streetpass gets hacked and everyone in the world has it.

            Pokemon does these things.

Be optimistic man, you will get it!!

( and I just got home from school and I’m tired af so I can’t read )

    • The ones that get the original Eon Tickets are what I call “Beta Testers”. If they take advantage of what they learn early on to screw everyone over, then they are also “Cheaters”, thus making them “Beaters”. :O

        • I want to join the League so I can have more local friends, but I’m waiting until the ORAS TCG pre release. I didn’t know about it the first time. I didn’t know events existed at all actually.

  6. So far I’ve been playing ORAS ou and it’s like a breath of fresh air in the meta game. I actually wanna play on showdown now :p the most broken megas are def Salamance and slowbro. Mega sceptile can be annoying if you don’t have a scarf Pokemon or a special wall. Beedrill is kinda tough to use and a little underwhelming

  7. I just realized something major! There’s that data for Team Magma/Aqua Grunts as well as Tabitha and Shelly in the post-game with Pokemon in their 50’s from the demo rip. Maybe they’ll be there at Southern Island when you get the Lati twin exclusive to your game! The official website says that you can visit Southern Island more than once! Very interesting and exciting stuff! Lots of post-game arcs. One possible for Latios/Latias, another likely for Rayquaza! 😀
