Good news for future Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire owners! The Eon Ticket which allows access to Southern Island, and subsequently the chance to catch Latios or Latias, will be able to be shared to other 3DS users via the 3DS’s StreetPass feature. This allows those who are unable to get a code or download will be able to through friends or strangers that did. The code doesn’t expire.
How the Eon Ticket will first be distributed has yet to be announced for English fans, although there will be codes for Japanese gamers in a CoroCoro publication.

There’s this theory that GF is making these “Double Battle Megas” because Hoenn introduced double battles. However, single battles are still used the most. So I don’t see the point. I guess it’s nice, but they could’ve been better. Oh well. At least Mega Audino got a huge design change. That’s a plus in my book.
Single battles are also not the official competitive format.

252+ Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 8 HP / 252 Def Mamoswine: 306-360 (84.7 – 99.7%) — guaranteed 2HKO. That’s a lot of EV investment though. :p
Mamoswine is faster than Metagross, however. But when not using an offensive item like Life Orb. (I.e. when using Focus Sash which is the best anti-Salamence tech)

In comparison to Rhydon’s design? He’s sh*tty. Grey became brown, his anatomy is overloaded with a club tail, plates, extra horn AND rock cannon arms if that wasn’t enough, none of which were hinted at in the prevo, and Rhydon was already a strong pokemon that never needed an evolution in the first place. They should have just boosted his base stats.
