Yet again, Pokemon of Japan’s YouTube channel has just revealed three brand new trailers for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire that showcase some new and quite stunning footage.
The first trailer showcases footage of Maxie and Archie in the Oceanic Museum, alongside some remixed battle music. It also confirms that TV Reporters Gabby and Ty will be returning, and some remixed route music is also present at that portion of the trailer. Finally, some footage of Roxanne’s Gym and Sydney’s Elite 4 room are showcased.
The second trailer showcases the part of the game where the plater character is prompted to choose his or her starter Pokemon, as well as the very first battle with May.
Finally, the last trailer showcases the player character’s house, his/her first encounter with the rival, Cycling Road (the Trick House seems to be present), bike tricks, the Oceanic Museum again, and footage from Route 120 when Steven gives the player character the Devon Scope. You can also hear some some remixed Littleroot Town music.

So, a while back somebody interviewed Junichi Masuda on the topic of a potential multi-region game in the future. He said that he was up for it, but “didn’t have a creative way to do so in mind.”
With that said, what do YOU guys envision a Pokemon game with more than one region being like?

Maybe it does, maybe it doesn’t. I LOVED Gold and Silver, but there are several things they did in HGSS that I’m glad they did (things that weren’t in GSC). They made the games better than the originals, and that’s hard for me to say. Who’s to say they won’t do the same thing with D/P remakes?

Plus, with the remakes of Red and Blue (FRLG) and Gold and Silver (HGSS), they added things to them. FRLG introduced the Sevii Islands, while HGSS borrowed a lot from Crystal. I say this to point out the fact that the remakes were not straight remakes, but rather had elements in them that made them better than the original games. As such, I believe when Sinnoh remakes happen, they will be remakes of Diamond and Pearl, but will have elements of Platinum (such as the expanded Pokédex and the Platinum plot, like the Distortion World).
AND it wouldn’t be slow anymore (cause GF learned from their mistakes) and most of the things people complain about will be nonexistant, like the lack of fire-types.
It will bring SInnoh to a new light and make people reconsider their opinions about SInnoh.
The plot would still be slow.

Not really, the evil teams goals clashed with their plans, (Owning a crowbat when you have no sense of friendship? UGH) the region was super hard to navigate through, the climax was EXTREMELY anticlimactic, the encounters were boring and ugh, the battles. The move animations, everything about the battles were terrible.
I don’t like Sinnoh at all, but I WANT it to be good.
I like most regions, but Sinnoh just drives me away.
And although I won’t be playing pokemon when the remakes come out, I want GF to make the region that I once thought as terrible good.
It’s not fair for GF to have to have games like that on their record.
Evil team’s goals conflicted with their plans? YOu obviously hated Team Plasma then in BW cause that’s exactly what they did. And using a Pokemon for example of that is very trivial as well. The Crobat only needs to feel happy with you, and his Crobat probably was happy with him, even if he didn’t care. IT’s not about happiness on his side but on the Pokemon’s side.
The region wasn’t that hard to navigate through, and this was the child that had problems with Kanto and Johto for the same reasons. IF you paid attention to what was going on, then it wouldn’t have been so hard. Kanto gave you no clues where to go. SInnoh did.
The climax showed him about to destroy the world but the 3 spirits and you stopped it. It’s the same as most other Pokemon villain story really.
And the rest of the stuff would be fixed with updating. That was on their limit of the graphics at the time, but now, can be made better.
If it was remade it would be made better than what it already is. And it will. Like I said, all the issues that people had with Sinnoh, like slowness and lack of fire types will be fixed. IT already has been fixed with subsequent regions. ANd besides, it’s not as terrible as you let on.
And games like that help them improve. It was the first games on the DS. IT’s bound to have problems. GF isn’t perfect.
I thought it was terrible, it is my opinion, as I even stated in my previous reply. I hate Sinnoh, and that can’t be changed, as I won’t be playing pokemon when the remakes come out.
I respect that, and alll I want is for you to respect mine and allow me to hope for SInnoh remakes without saying crapping on it.

I believe so, too. Diamond and Pearl were the first handheld Pokémon main series games to take place on the Nintendo DS, a completely different animal than the GBA and prior systems. As such, there’s gonna be some issues, right? Platinum fixed a lot of those issues imo, which is why I believe Diamond and Pearl remakes will be much better. They’ll have experience on that current system (whether it be the 3DS or not), and will be able to make a much better product.

Mega Johto starters are definitely going to happen. Mega Typhlosion will be ridiculously strong. Probably OU. Mega Meganium would be a decent supporter and Mega Feraligatr will be meh unless it gets Sheer Force.
