Diancie Distribution Details and ORAS Dual Pack

The official Pokémon Youtube channel has released a video with details on how to get Diancie. Starting today, American and Canadian players can pick up a code at their local GameStop and EB Games store respectively, starting today through November 16th.

In other news, the Omega Ruby and  Alpha Sapphire dual pack announced earlier this year for Japan has been confirmed for United States. This pack, at $79.98, comes with both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and a total of 200 potions redeemable via code. This offer is exclusive for Best Buy retail stores, bestbuy.com and amazon.com.

200 potions sounds a little too much for me, how about you?

  1. O boy! What a save! Plus 200 potions!?! It’s not like we can get those in the game, right? For reals though: Screw this deal, I want fricken tin cases for my ORAS games, not some 200 potions bullshit.

  2. I need Diancie.
Thursday I am getting that code. I will march in the local Gamestop up here and demand it.
RL Jamie: Ummm ummmm can I get the code for Diancie? *socially awkward, and awkward in general*
    GS Person: Sure!
RL J: OMG I AM SORRY FOR YOUR TIME *takes code and walks away*
GS Person: Lol wat she likes Pokemon and is in college what a loser hella bai should have given her issues and made her more awkward.

  3. That dual pack is very convenient as I do get both games anyways, might as well get potions out of it :3
I just wish they were something else, like rare candies or hyper potions or something I dunno.

  4. So…I can’t just go into Gamestop and pull out my 3DS and activate the Event Download? I have to ask for the code? Where do I even type the code? I’ve never heard of a code for a Gamestop Event. Fortunatley, I don’t care about what the employees will think because…

    • Sadly, early class awaits me D:
And I have to wait until I get home before I get it, unless I can find a Best Buy up here so I can get the dual pack.

  5. How to rip off people: give them two games in single box for the same price as two seperate, cooler boxes. But, hey, you get 200(!) potions, can’t argue with that!

  6. Well if you have Gamer unlocked it is only $64 before tax and $67 after taxes, so this is definitely cheaper than buying both individually for me!

  7. this couldve been a great idea if they made it cheaper ;-; not like everyone wants both versions. if they made it like 60 dollars or something, I’m sure everyone would get it. I know I want to get both cheaper for my boyfriend and me

    • It makes it easier for me since I always get both anyways. But now, I get bonus potions with it, so why not? At least that is what I think.

  9. It seems like a lot of people are going be buying two copies of OR/AS. Makes sense. I still only purchase one version because I’m not throwing out $80 for basically the same game (with minor/major changes.).

I guess this helps if you play Pokémon games competitively. One version for fun, the other for competitive purposes.

  10. I just saw people getting one GS code, and just wanted to add that the worker at mine said he didn’t care how many I took, lol.

  11. TB, just to inform you (wouldn’t let me respond below) Manaphy and Mew are event only pokes, so they’re not required in the Nat Dex.

  12. Instead of them giving Potions. I wish they gave maybe 5 MasterBalls or 20 Rare Candies. Something a little bit more valuable. Potions are super easy to come by in every Pokémon game.

  14. http://pastebin.com/8rbu6Fmp I know I’ve only been posting about this but I’m so hyped! Now we all know that Move Tutors are back and we all know what use they have on Pokémon from Generation I to V but now we can see what they will give in terms of use to the Pokémon from Generation VI!

Pangoro can now have Fire/Thunder/Ice Punch and even better Drain Punch!
Yveltal can now have Weat Wave! And much more!

  15. This Double pack looks really cool, but I already preordered both games at GameStop and I don’t think I really need 200 potions. As for trying to get the secret mission, I’m at about 200 SRs and still nothing. It’s not much, but I didn’t think it would take THIS long.

      • The only thing I would probably do with the potions is keep about ten for the first two gyms and then sell the rest. Other than that, yeah, it seems kinda pointless. No other way to put it :/

  16. I actually did a breeding challenge for myself today, to see if I can breed a Pokemon with 5IVs or better in a single day from parents only caught from Safari. Since today is my favorite Naruto character’s birthday, I’m breeding for a competitive Seviper.

I had two males and one female from Safari, and they each had two IVs that do not overlap, as in they all have different IVs from each other.

So far, I got a male and female with 4IVs, and they both have 2 IVs that the other lacks. 😀 Hatching their eggs now. The last male I hatch with 5+IVs will be named after the Naruto character. 😉
