PJT ’14 – Pre-Start Update

As promised we’re now bringing the final update before the PokéJungle 2014 Tournament begins. This post contains the information you’ve all been waiting for: the groups and competitors assignments for the first stage of the tournament.

Below you will find each group, as well as the period in which these groups will be battling. During this period each competitor will have to battle every other person in their group once. This update is relatively short as we plan to have further details and a recap on all information on the day of the tournament starting (perhaps this wasn’t the final, final update!); don’t forget you can view all previous updates on the tournament by clicking HERE.

These group listings are now set and with exception to extreme circumstances we can no longer change the dates or groups competitors have been positioned in. As mentioned above we will provide an update on the day of the tournament beginning recapping the rules, code of conduct and tournament format. The tournament will the begin.

          • I know this isn’t a haiku, but dude, holding a grudge for him beating you a lot is really stupid. It’s just a game. Enjoy it, and don’t make TC feel down because you are upset about always loosing. He has feelings too, and you always putting him down and calling him cheap isn’t okay. Do you want respect? If so, this isn’t the way to go.

          • I’m sorry but that loss was just utterly humiliating to me
            It made me feel so useless and pathetic
            the reason behind this grudge is because i spent so much time trying to beat him and still failed and it stings so much knowing that after all that time spent in preparation wasted for nothing
            and i will not accept defeat, not until i prove that i am a worthy adversary and not some pushover

          • Maybe accepting defeat and trying to move forward would be better. It is just a game after all. And who ever said you were just a pushover? True strength comes from knowing your weaknesses and not trying to make others suffer for those weaknesses. But what am I saying? It is your life.

          • If you cannot Accept defeat you will be forever mad at yourself and TC, you would be the one who has lost the mentally. Just accept it is all over man. He beat you. You have no reason to Hate TC, it is just a game. I don’t understand how others who haven’t eve battled accept defeated. Honestly You are making yourself look bad.

          • I’m honestly sorry that you feel that way. And I can’t speak for TC, but I know him well enough to feel that he would respect anyone who respects him (but then, isn’t that true about everyone?). Maybe he’s just better, it happens. But trust me, he doesn’t see you as a pushover. I’ve thought the same thing, but he continues to partake in games with me.

          • Dude, maybe it’s just me, but you shouldn’t be like that when it’s just a game. Video games are supposed to be fun, which is why we play them. Believe me when I say TC has beaten me many times, in Pokémon, Mario Kart, and Brawl. But do I swear revenge? Do I hate him for it? No, because I realize it’s supposed to be fun. I realize that it’s a game. And if nothing else, it tells me that I need to get better. He’s an excellent gamer, no reason to be ashamed in losing to him.

You’ve hurt alot of people today so please stop! No one wants to hear it. Like i said, i’m fine with your opinion, but be respectful of other’s opinions and dont shove yours down their throght

    I did make a sonnet :3
    I shall share it….

    In Kanto is where I began my quest
    With Pikachu beating Jessie and James;
    Hoenn is where I spent being the best
    I loved it there but I had moved my aims.
    Ah, Sinnoh, my darling, my love so sweet!
    You made me love this game I play so much
    With such a passion; you’re simply a treat!
    I’ve re-found Johto, but I do not touch.
    Unova came to show me such a tale
    That took my breath away with such a heart!

    Oh, Kalos came with such beauty entail
    That I could not believe; a piece of art.
    This is my journey; this is my story.
    I will continue so do not judge me.
