PJT ’14 – Pre-Start Update

As promised we’re now bringing the final update before the PokéJungle 2014 Tournament begins. This post contains the information you’ve all been waiting for: the groups and competitors assignments for the first stage of the tournament.

Below you will find each group, as well as the period in which these groups will be battling. During this period each competitor will have to battle every other person in their group once. This update is relatively short as we plan to have further details and a recap on all information on the day of the tournament starting (perhaps this wasn’t the final, final update!); don’t forget you can view all previous updates on the tournament by clicking HERE.

These group listings are now set and with exception to extreme circumstances we can no longer change the dates or groups competitors have been positioned in. As mentioned above we will provide an update on the day of the tournament beginning recapping the rules, code of conduct and tournament format. The tournament will the begin.

  5. I’m happy to announce that on July 25th, 2014 (also the day I go back home from Florida), I will have my 1 year anniversary on PJN! I began posting on the very first Jungle Talks after posing as an anonymous leaker days/months prior. I felt like enough was enough and I was ready to begin my adventures on Pokejungle.

    I don’t exactly remember too much about my first time on PJN, except that I was posting fake rumors and such. Don’t really remember how I even introduced myself, because various incidents have caused me to shut down my account at least 2 times in the past year.

    My oldest account is also named “Dicie,” but has an Inkay avatar created by Jordin, one of my first PJN friends.

    I don’t know what exactly I’ll be doing to commemorate my 1 year on PJN, but I would like to give a thanks to everybody here for helping me, being my friend, and tolerating me during some of the rougher times.

    My 1 year at PokeJungle has been absolutely amazing, and I am proud to be a part of a caring, loving family that I will always treasure. Thanks to everybody for changing my life (positively, of course).

    May we all have many more wonderful, fun-filled years on PJN. 😀

  14. Hey, does anyone know where it may be possible to find a review or something for the latest movie released 2 days ago? I never really watch the anime or movies, but as you can guess by my picture thing, I’m really keen to see Xerneas in action 😉

  23. Dicie! I was searching through the archives of the email account I use for Disqus. It turns out that we both joined PJN on the same day (July 25, 2013)! The whole time I thought I joined in June after E3, but I guess time flies when there’s so much new info to think about.

    • I know! I thought I joined at the same time or around when Megas were released, but I came from the Pokemon Game Show post and my first comment was on August 16th.

      • I joined during the IAMTHELEAKER article and used a couple different names and AVIs. I only commented to get new info, but didn’t start sharing about myself WAY later on (as is with most newbies).

        I noticed that I never really welcomed you here. When I first saw you, I didn’t know you were new. Heck, I was still new at that time. I know it doesn’t matter, but WELCOME!

        • xD My first post was a welcome post xD I lurked and upvoted certain comments. I didn’t really comment until I did and I opened up about myself from the start xD

          • Jeez. That scandal was ridiculous! Those silly trolls! I too upvoted comments for the most part. Especially for the ones that were downvoted; it was my way of bringing balance to the jungle.

            I still remember the first time we talked to each other. It was about my Pokemon and Popular Movie Crossover Trailer ideas. 😀

            Was that the first time? xD When I came back from my break from here due to playing XY/not relating to conversation?

          • I believe so. I don’t recall any other time we chatted before then.

            Everyone here knew I was a guy though because I used anime male characters as my names and AVIs. The first one was Toshiro Hitsugaya from Bleach. The second was Lelouch Vi Britannia from Code Geass. And now I’m me. 😀

            Yeah, back when I RPed on this one site, I had to express the same thing, but I think most knew I was a girl 😀 I kinda miss that experience, as it helped with my writing/it was incredibly fun, but near the end, my account stopped working, I lost most everybody, the people I kept in contact with either left or weren’t available, I only liked starting, and I wasn’t with awesome people.

          • That’s too bad about that one site ending in a bust. Oh wells indeed. :3 I kinda never put much thought on how my writing skills have improved. I’d say it has improved greatly because of my writing classes in college. However, I still can’t type too fast because I would end up making mistakes. :

          • Yeah, but I found a better one 😀 Just not for RPing, but Pokemon is a nice tradeoff 😀
            Writing made me realize I had more talents than my smarts/music. And I never knew how good I was until I joined groups on dA and posted them. I thought I was quite an amateur, really. :3

          • It’s amazing how we learn about our skills through sources of media. Keep at it. 🙂 Mine are my resourceful thinking and number memorization skills. I’m better at those than music. XD
