With our final update for PJT scheduled tomorrow, what better time than now to talk about the competitive scene in Pokémon?
Competitive Battling in Pokémon really is a huge deal, there’s an annual World Championship tournament to find the world’s best Pokémon trainer, entire websites dedicated to battling and much, much more.
This JungleTalk is a relatively simple an broad one, just focusing on the competitive aspect of Pokémon as a whole. We want to know any memorable battles you’ve had, any cool sweeps or times you’ve fallen victim to an effective sweep, your favorite Pokémon you like to use in battle…

He hacked basically all his pokemon and I got frozen no joke 7times in a row from his Lugia and a F**king Gengar hacked with blizzard -.-

Does anyone here count catching pokemon with a cheated master all as a cheated pokemon ? Even if the pokemon is raised normally is it still a no no for you’s ? This is a common discussion I have with my friends.
The thing that was cheated is a Master Ball, which only guarantee 100% catch rate for a normal Pokemon. Other than that, it doesn’t give you advantage over other players, so it’s not as bad.
Nope, it has no battle effect.
Also, master balls are not inherited when breeding.
Exactly I have a togepi from platinum that’s in a master ball so my togekiss is in one, its not even EV trained but my friends are having none of it 😛
Well if you re-breed your togekiss in X&Y (unless it has special moves from Platinum tutors/TMs) you will get a pokeball one. This should satisfy the haters…

American ditto, Irish Froakie 🙁 it just won’t happen for me 🙁 my game is cursed. Any other Pokemon I can do but this is evil haha
Do you have a Shiny Charm? I suggest having the Ditto as a foreigner, and switch the other American parent every so often.
