But the metagross on the second page looks different from the one on the first page. Could this be a possible alternate mega evolution?

What I would Love alongside the Battle frontier is the Pokemon world tournament from BW2. This in 3d would be magical. Plus we get to witness Steven, Blue, Red, Cynthia, Lance, Alder etc in an epic battle.
And they should allow us to use 6 pokemon instead of 3 in the single battles.
Definitely I wished it was a full 6v6 battle in BW2.

On a competitive standpoint, Mega Metagross is what Metagross really needed. Boosted stats with potentially Tough Claws to boost its attack to ever higher levels. Metagross fell from grace since the nerf of steel types. Ahhhh I can’t wait for ORAS!!!
Speed Boost + Attack Boost + Tough Claws = Yasssssssssssss
