So far, X and Y has four official legendary Pokemon. Unofficially, it has introduced six. I think that’s the lowest amount of legendary Pokemon a new generation has ever introduced.

That’s the reason why I believe Strange Souvenir item depicts a new legend, and will be apart of a batch of new Pokemon introduced in the Zygarde game/New Region

I’m surprised as well. And the fact that we can’t store items in Pokebank tells me that this new region will be compatible with XY, so we equip it, board the train in Couriway and take it with us to the faraway region, and unlock some kind of event.

I always imagined the Baby Legend of Gen 6 would be based off the Squirrel that delivered messages between the Dragon & The Eagle in Norse Mythology. Shame we didn’t get a squirrel legend. Hope it still happens.
It does in Diancie. Its just they took 50 from HP and Speed and put it into the Defenses

I’d consider diancie more of a baby one than hoopa. hoopa looks so devious but then again itd make her unique to all the cute ones
And Shaymin > Manaphy. Imo.
Shaymin doesn’t have that pixie body shape, so I don’t consider it as one.

What do Diancie, Volcanion, and Hoopa all have in common? I was going to say Hoopa represents the atmosphere, Diancie represents the lithosphere, and Volcanion represents the hydrosphere but I don’t think it’s that. Hmmm… what do you guys think?

(According to Wikipedia…) Wormholes can be said to have a negative energy, steam (or rather, the water particles) have “a lot” of energy (it needs to in order to evaporate), and there’s probably some relationship between energy and pressure in the formation of diamonds; i just don’t know if diamonds “consume” energy to be formed, or release energy…
I don’t think it will be a full fledged prequel.
I just think maybe there will be a time capsule of sorts that allow us to go back (during the main story) and fix some stuff 3000 years ago during the Ancient War, that makes things different now. Almost like the movie The Butterfly Effect, where Ashton Kutcher went back in time, changed certain things, and it altered his future.
Releasing Celebi Event (the time travel Pokemon) also gave me a hint at this.
Or Daes of Future Past or the ACTUAL Age of Ultron.
