Nintendo’s Digital E3 was broadcast earlier today and with it the company has shared a handful of details relating to new Pokémon games. Below you can find our coverage of the news, expect more throughout the day with in depth coverage just around the corner!
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
And full trailer has been shown for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, showing Hoenn completely remade with 3D environments. Launching worldwide on November 21 in the US and November 28 in Europe!
In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Kyogre and Groudon are able undergo a process known as Primal Reversion. This allows the two Pokémon to revert into Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, and allows them to draw back power from nature and gain an even larger power boost. When undergoing Primal Reversion, Kyogre receives a boost to its Special Attack stat whilst Groudon become Ground/Fire type and gains a boosted Attack stat. Both Pokémon also seem to gain a boost to their abilities, although it’s not possible to confirm this yet.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will bring players even closer to discovering the secrets behind Mega Evolution, with players seeking out Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving and unlocking their incredible potential. More Mega Stones are said to be hidden across the Hoenn region. It also appears that there may be a link between Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion.

But they only do that if they’re attacked or trying to run away. Wouldn’t make sense if it loses its tail attacking Swampert.
0_0 ooo another great point But then again this is just Pokemon lol. A Sceptile isn’t going to run away from some Swamp thingie, so I guess it uses its detached tail as a weapon (or pin missle)

Regenerator would have been a better rationalization for losing tail, as well as a better ability for Mega Sceptile in general, but alas…
I agree 100%. I’m not disappointed with Lightningrod though in no-ways!!! But I agree Regenerator is MUCH better suited.

Have sizes ever been important in the game. They are just there purely for the sake of it.
If sizes were to scale it would be completely impractical, cos when you have a small pokemon against a big one, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t even even be able to see the small pokemon…Think of Flabebe against a Wailord
While you have a good point, I wish everyone would pay more attention to the trailer. It clearly shows the small in-game models GROWING in length during their mega sequence.

In the pokemon center i saw ads for oras and the diancie movie but failed to get a darkrai or diancie… Also, i cleared all my streetpass prior to shopping, but maxed out my plaza, trozei AND mario kart 7 very quick.
Technically it appears to be a reskin of mega evolution, probably has something to do with life force as well
