Nintendo’s Digital E3 was broadcast earlier today and with it the company has shared a handful of details relating to new Pokémon games. Below you can find our coverage of the news, expect more throughout the day with in depth coverage just around the corner!

And full trailer has been shown for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, showing Hoenn completely remade with 3D environments. Launching worldwide on November 21 in the US and November 28 in Europe!

In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Kyogre and Groudon are able undergo a process known as Primal Reversion. This allows the two Pokémon to revert into Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, and allows them to draw back power from nature and gain an even larger power boost. When undergoing Primal Reversion, Kyogre receives a boost to its Special Attack stat whilst Groudon become Ground/Fire type and gains a boosted Attack stat. Both Pokémon also seem to gain a boost to their abilities, although it’s not possible to confirm this yet.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will bring players even closer to discovering the secrets behind Mega Evolution, with players seeking out Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving and unlocking their incredible potential. More Mega Stones are said to be hidden across the Hoenn region. It also appears that there may be a link between Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion.

  9. Well I finally got home from work and missed a lot of discussion so I thought I would comment on the map! A lot of stuff has probably already been said but all well.
    -What’s up with the Sunken ship? It looks like a small town or mountain thing now..
    -I can see the trick house!
    -Looks like there is some small new town in a forest west of the mountain range that is connected to Mount Chimney
    -What is that big black mass in the sky or ocean north of Lilycove? Ocean Trench? Distortion World? Can’t tell.
    -Mist on the map on Route 119. Does that mean there may be fog or mist in the game or is it just a detail on the map?
    -New huge orange building on Route 123 (south of Mt Pyre) Could be a rock but looks like a building to me…
    -I don’t see the Safari zone but I’m going to assume it’s still there.
    -A few new coves/lagoons east of Pacifidlog city
    -Evergrande City actually seems to be a city this time (although small and probably not grande)
    -The Space Center is huge!!! Note the Rocket from Emerald is there. *wink* *wink*
    -Seems to be new mountain cave/island just northwest of Sootopolis city. You can see small cave entrances. Or they might be shadow. Kinda hard to tell, really.
    -Note that random Island west of the Cycling road is now a different shape. It kind of is shaped like a miniature version of a region many of us love. Sinnoh! Coincidence? Probably!
    -There are a bunch of clouds where a battle frontier would be…hmm….
    -I see Contest buildings! Woo hoo!
    Okay, that’s about all I got. Hopefully I didn’t rehash too much that has already been discussed. That being said, I’m really excited for ORAS now!! Hope you enjoyed the commentary. Did I miss anything? Am I overreacting to the map? Imagining things that aren’t there? You tell me!

      And some of this is new, and it was a nice to bring up! 😀
      I did an analysis post, but I rehashed what people were saying because I didn’t want to look too hard in the map. 😀
