‘Delta Emerald’ Trademarked in Japan

In a surprising bit of news, it has come to light that Nintendo trademarked デルタエメラル (Delta Emerald) in Japan. This is most likely just to cover their bases and make sure the name is reserved because of its similarity to the announced Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire remakes coming to the Nintendo 3DS in November 2014. Other Pokémon-themed names have been trademarked before and Nintendo has also purchased a range of .com domain names for games that would never actually exist. Don’t get your hopes up 😉  This was discovered by a 2ch user and the thread can be viewed on Hachima Kikou.

Even so, this is sure to draw some speculation from the fandom at large 😉

I feel like if joined PokéJungle you guys would eat me like a pack of Mightyena encountering a lone Blitzle in the savanna 🙁 I had no intention whatsoever to mess with anyone but to make a point clear. I apologize to JENN and anyone here if you felt like I was starting trouble. I’m not a hater either. I have no room in my body to hate another human being let alone a stranger. I guess I’ll just browse the site from afar ;_;

        • Thanks AlphaPercyEspeon for understanding. I didn’t attack anyone truth be told. I didn’t use any rude or disgusting language against her either. I also didn’t start “trouble” I would say. This is why we have the gift of communication to speak up if something is bothering us. I have been browsing this site for a while and I’ve seen several instances where she alluded to being that girl Loren in the pictures. I don’t care if she used the girls picture just don’t make pretend to be her. I have a big thing towards people who aren’t honest. You’ll get nothing but the truth from every time in the most respectable manor.

          • Why do you care and why is this appropriate in the comments sections? This has nothing to do with Pokemon. Your trying to join this site and your giving your self a bad first impression. And what does her being honest got to so with you? I think what you need to work on is not putting your nose where it doesn’t belong.

          • Exactly, I try to be understanding, because I believe it is much better to behave that way and I don’t wish to cause trouble, only to end it peacefully. You are a little harsh, but it is understandable. You have seen this happen a couple of times, so I do not blame you 😀
            You haven’t done any of those things and I agree. It does not matter if she uses that picture, she wants to use it. She hasn’t said that she is Loren in any way. If she did, I would tell her to stop. But she didn’t. And besides, this sin’t fb where you have to be truthful of your appearance and name. My name is not Percy and I am not an Espeon, but no one cares here. It’s my alias. If I was calling myself on fb, then people have the right to call me out on that, but this is different.
            I agree his/her comment had nothing to do with Pokemon, but we get derailed here often xD So long as he/she was willing to be a part of the community and willing to post Pokemon stuff, then I would have accepted him/her.

            You may not have done that stuff, but you still cause trouble, and I have talked with JENN and seen her on here. I have NEVER seen her allude to being Loren. EVER. And I think some Pokejunglers would agree.
            She wasn’t pretended to be her at all, in the slightest. She hasn’t said her name was Loren or said she was from Alabama, or that she was 25.
            Just let it go. It doesn’t matter. 😀 I hope you will join, but if not, then I understand as well.
            But if you do join, just try to take the high road. 😀

    • Also confronting somebody about a picture is petty and not appriopate to post about in the articles. Why do you care so much that she used that picture? I just think your worried about the wrongs things. It’s really none of your business.
