  1. Good thing I missed the region wars. Cause seriously, I would have tried to stop it.
    Seriously.
They are all equal and nice and have their ups and downs.
My favorite will always be Sinnoh, only because it was the region that reminded me why I love Pokemon. I was doubting myself because I kept playing Hoenn over and over (still love Hoenn by the way) and my brother stopped playing, so I thought I should do the same. Diamond changed that for me. And I loved everything about it.
Kalos is second because it brought so much excitement back to me and reminded me of what SInnoh did.
Hoenn brings back memories of my brother playing it and I treasure it as well.
The rest of the regions don’t necessary have that for me, but they are all splendid in their own way. Yellow was my first game. Johto, well, it had two regions and had Silver! Unova had the best story ever!
So please, please stop trying to start this fight. It isn’t worth it, fighting over opinions.
Everyone’s different. Just accept each other.
I know the fighting is over, but don’t start it again. OR else I was type this same exact message again, and I know people will not want that 😀

    • I’ll be honest. Diamond was my first “legitimate” pokemon game. Ruby I got from my cousin as a torrent download on my pc :/

    • We are a group of very devoted Pokemon fans. Some kind of rivalry must be grasped among people with a common level of knowledge and appreciation, no matter how stupid it seems. And I’m philosophizing again…

      • True, but it seemed kind of vicious to me. Then again, tone is kinda hard to read from text on the Internet 😀
I don’t mind a rivalry but not when it explodes with thousands of comments trying to better another with ‘if this didn’t exist then blah blah blah.’ and so on and so forth.

          • 😀 Yeah. I know not everyone will like Sinnoh, but I know enough not to enforce on people and force my opinion on them. I’m just not that kind of person and I never wish to be. (Not saying you are, mind you, you are a nice person 😀 At least to me xD)

  2. What IF bill is the creator of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon due to the machine that he used to become a pokemon in gen one and technological advances on the machine throughout the years and Mystery Dungeon takes place in the future?

    Reply
      • What if some kind of evil organization used his machine and actually succeeded in making most of the world into pokemon and humans are nearly extinct. Which is why humans exist in the world of mystery dungeon but are never seen. (In the gen 4 mystery dungeon games, sceptile was your pokemon, you were a human within that same world before becoming a pokemon)

        Reply
        • I know, I love those games. I love speculating what happened to humans.
And :O :O :O Is it bad that I want this to happen? xD

          Reply
          • I mean, the game confirmed that they existed within the world but then you like never see them and the pokemon are surprised when you tell them that you were a human. 😮

          • Hmm…maybe the evil people brainwash the humans then turn them into Pokemon, making them believe there are no humans and they have always been Pokemon!
            We are getting deep here.

          • Or, it could have happened generations ago and the pokemon in the mystery dungeon world are offspring of the humans turned pokemon.

          • :O And their parents never told them about their past human status, so they had no knowledge of it. Or maybe they did but the offspring believe them to be legends and myths! :O
I kinda got this from a story I read of a retelling of the 4th gen MD games and they author made up this detail, saying they were myths about humans being violent and cruel, and were evil creatures.

  3. “…in Red and Blue Rescue Team, the Friend Areas based off of laboratories
seem to have been used, and are still partially functional. The
descriptions even state that they were abandoned a long time ago.

So, humans did exist in the PMD world. So, from that, I’ve made a
theory that the PMD universe is actually the same one as the main
games, only set in the future, where some cataclysmic event wiped out
humanity, and left Pokemon as the dominant species.”

I was actually thinking about the friend area lab when writing my theory about humans in the mystery dungeon world 😮

    Veilstone’s Myth

Veilstone’s Myth (Japanese: トバリの しんわ Tobari’s Myth) is about a young swordsman.

A young man, callow and foolish in
innocence, came to own a sword.
With it, he smote Pokémon, which gave
    sustenance, with carefree abandon.
Those not taken as food, he
    discarded, with no afterthought.
    The following year, no Pokémon
    appeared. Larders grew bare.
The young man, seeking the missing
    Pokémon, journeyed afar.
Long did he search. And far and wide,
too, until one he did find.
Asked he, “Why do you hide?”
    To which the Pokémon replied…
“If you bear your sword to bring
harm upon us, with claws and
fangs, we will exact a toll.
“From your kind we will take our
toll, for it must be done.
“Done it must be to guard ourselves
    and for it, I apologize.”
To the skies, the young man shouted
    his dismay.
“In having found the sword, I have
    lost so much.
“Gorged with power, I grew blind
    to Pokémon being alive.
“I will never fall savage again.
This sword I denounce and forsake.
    “I plead for forgiveness,
for I was but a fool.”
So saying, the young man hurled the
sword to the ground, snapping it.
    Seeing this, the Pokémon disappeared
    to a place beyond seeing…”

  5. I find it hard to believe that there are 700+ pokemon but GF still hasn’t made some basic animal-based ones yet, like dolphins.

  6. “Look not into the Pokémon’s eyes.

In but an instant, you’ll have no
    recollection of who you are.
    Return home, but how?
When there is nothing to remember?
Dare not touch the Pokémon’s body.
In but three short days, all emotions
    will drain away.
Above all, above all, harm not
    the Pokémon.
In a scant five days, the offender
    will grow immobile in entirety.”

Creepy myth about the lake guardians.

Basically, you lose your memory, become emotionless and paralyzed. Everything that made you human is now lost. You’re just. There.

  7. One of the things i liked best about Sinnoh was the mythology. One thing i love about video games is lore and backstory. I wish they had mythology present in other games of the series ._. Maybe we could have learned something else about AZ or Zygarde.

  8. Lol when I was little I thought Solrock was rock/fire XDDD
So I didn’t even bother to use leaf blade against it XD
And that’s the story of why Tate (whom is a boy) and liza swept me about 50 times (not a hyperbole) before I finally used leaf blade as a last resort and killed it XD
