Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:

Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

I am going to save money to buy it and I’ll save to get both these games since I had played Red, Yellow, Silver and Ruby but the first game I bought was Emerald and I love Generation 3! I want to know if they will bring back the Secret Bases, HM Dive and how will it look with the new 3D graphics and if we will get new Mega Evolutions! Can’t wait!

Thank you! My biggest problem was that I had a lot of great Pokémon like the 6iv Modest Xerneas I had, my shiny KB Charizard, my KB Mewtwo that I caught myself and it was Timid with good iv’s, had a lot of great Pokémon and I spent so much time with it!

When the games are starting up… it shows the protagonist out speeding Lati on their bike. Lati then mega evolves and whizzes past you.. knocking you off your bike.. I would love that as an intro lol.

I REALLY hope ORAS will be more exclusive this time than XY. I want:
1. Alternate Paths.
2. An alternate story besides just changing the legendary.
3. Alternate graphics for certain areas.

Just thinking about it. I think major battles need a revamp. I got mad seeing Rivals, Team Flare, and Prof. Sycamore just getting 3D Models. Gym Leaders & Elite Four Members should have them. Also, fixing the lag in X/Y Battles would be awesome! Also, 3D models on the battlefield. IDK if the 3DS could handle that but it would sure be great!

these games might have been worked on since 2010. Because in 2010, HGSS was released, and the game director tells us he is busy remaking a game everyone loves. And in 2012, there is a trademark list of mega’s that has Groudon/Kyogre’s name on it.

Do you think that when Mega Lati@s appear in these games, they’ll look different? There’s a theory that their Megas are betas because they look the same to each other.
Their mega’s are final. You can tell their differences by the color of their eyes and the height when you use them. Mega Latios takes up my whole screen and makes everything look minuscule. And yes I believe we will find them in these games.
Soul Dew is no longer an item, so they will have replaced them with the mega stone. Beat elite 4, talk to TV, reporter tells us of lat fleeing around Hoenn. We go find it, catch it, it drops mega stone.
They’re both purple because if you mix red/blue you get purple.
