Pokémon has just announced that Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released in November 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. Not much more is known. Below is what the official site posted in their announcement:
Announcing Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems! Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!
Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.
Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!
These games will be released in November world wide as confirmed by the Japanese announcement. The Japanese mini-site is kind of cool, by the way.

ps- Personally I cannot be more excited about these games. I don’t know what a heart attack feels like, but I think I had one when I saw these announced.

I’ll admit though, this announcement was very…lackluster? It came on so soon, and wasn’t even given a special announcement..
true.. i do love random announcements though lol. i told everyone they wouldn’t debut a game at e3, they never do that
True. I just wish it wasn’t so early in the mourning because now I can’t see TC’s reaction >.<

Added getting on
Dude, thanks a lot!
I’m super curious about the whole “new world” bit, as a lot of the marketing for the other remakes we’ve had has been along the lines of “revisiting” something we’ve already seen.
Super excited nonetheless!!
One last time guys say it with me Hoenn confirmed. Im actually so delighted at the names there very imaginative and not expected. Sooo happy. Breath. Deep breathing. Control…. yes yes yes !!! SO HAPPY 😀 MAY 7TH WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY NOW 😀
HOENN CONFIRMED!!!!!
Hoenn not confirmed, as you explore a “dramatic new world”
This can be taken both ways, as its for a new generation of players. But mark my wordsnit will be hoenn 😉
The official Pokemon website aways twists things. In the past they stated mega mewtwo y and the Kyurem forms were “new pokemon”.
WHAT IN THE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD
*hugs you* good times are among us bro
THIS WAS SO UNEXPECTED!!!! AND I’VE GOT SCHOOL IN LIKE 5 MINUTES XD
Guys… Prepare to write a new chapter in the history of PJN. 🙂
Omg. The speculation and discussions are gonna be back. HALLUEYA
i missed that
How…why…what…HOW? I can’t process this!
I’m not gonna be able to handle it, and I’ve gotta be at school very very soon >.<
And I have to study for tests this morning XD
I’m home eating nutella and crying for this remakes
oh god I have a Social Studies test at the end of the day oh boy… Maybe during Bill Nye I can process this..
It says in the video “Game in 2D. Some areas also playable in 3D” So it’s not fully 3D but I don’t even care!
This year I’ll have the best birthday ever XD

So…I’ll get Pokemon Y in the meantime and get hyped about Pokemon again. Who am I kidding, I’m always hyped for Pokemon. Especially HOENN REMAKES WHYYYYYY
OHMAHGAWD!
I’m going to study before it’s too late, but I’ll be more distracted than ever by the sounds of Lilycove and Slateport ringing in my head. Oh I could cry buckets.
Yeah good luck with that, I just popped my RSE OST… 😀
(Rustboro right now)
Let the prediction begin!!!!I predict these aren’t prequel/sequel.Or they could be ? Alpha sapphire(prequel) and omega ruby( sequel)!
