A new promotion has been announced for Japanese Pokémon Centers. 6 level 50 Pokémon with Mega Evolutions will be given out from May to June. Below are the details:

I know you’d lose the burn, but Bellyrest sets usually run Chesto and non rest ones usually have Sitrus Berry.

People are expecting Pokemon Z, that would make sense due to 6th gen being the first ever 3D games (X,Y,Z). But people forget that when it comes to three dimensional coordinate systems, the origin of X-axis and Y-axis is (0,0). Zero is the set of all points. Z = 0. I may just be looking into this too hard, but Masuda said he plans to really surprise us again for the next games, just like how they surprised us last time with the first ever sequels, so this time I think the way they will shock us is by releasing the first ever Pokemon prequel titled Pokemon Zero. It still begins with the letter “Z”, and emphasizes the new story taking place in Kalos 300-3000 years ago where we would actually get to experience the war that happened, andhow the new region ends up distancing itself from Kalos, and what Zygarde’s mega evolution will look like as well as new Pokemon that may have migrated to the other region or went extinct over time. My prequel theory is also supported by X and Y allowing players to trade hacks to each other as in a Moon Ball Noibat, where its supposed to give you the message “you have a Pokemon that can’t be traded in your box”. According to an NPC in Azalea in HGSS, hundreds of years ago, trainers used to catch their Pokemon in apricorns. I believe they plan to reintroduce those rare balls like Love Ball, Moon Ball in the form of apricorns etc so we’ll be able to legally catch hidden ability Pokemon and the new 6th gen Poke’s in them XD. they could possibly also release Pokemon X0 and Pokemon Y0 where we go back in time with our current protagonists. I just have this huge gut feeling that the next games will be set back in time, its never been done before and it’ll definitely be a game changer.

I walked for 45 minutes from a Church back to my school. It’s been quite an exhausting day, yet…I enjoyed it.

It’s fine, we fled to a hotel for thu-sun and I made good use of the pool and gym. Did a bit of reflection on Sunday.
On the Pokemon side, my VGC team for next week’s grassroots tournament were bred and trained.
Pretty fun.
Please excuse the TCLeaker incident earlier today. I’d like to apologize to both TCMets and the staff for pulling that, and I’d like to say that this will not be occurring again. From this day forth, I will be moderating my own posts before they are made public on Disqus.
I take full responsibility for the contents in the leak, and the temporary ban that Dae issued, was by all means fair. I’ve learned from my mistake and I would like to once more apologize for this stunt I’ve pulled. PJN will no longer be seeing any sort of fake leaks coming from me. If you could all forgive me for this act, I’d greatly appreciate it.
Considering that this is my first temporary ban, please do not hate me, this was a learning experience to which I fully understand what I did to deserve a consequence.

I was battling someone on Battle Spot with my level 52 Slurpuff, Doublade and Blastoise, and I actually managed to take down one of their Pokémon (a Gengar)!

What exactly happened with Dicie today?
Based on Heavy’s Theory, the two surprises I would like to see from gamefreak that would make me feel positive that they aren’t going to continue rehashing the 3rd game, and take big risks like X/Y mega evolutions.
1st: A Prequel (Instead of a Sequel)
2nd: Game is on Wii U (I’m imagining lush, ancient world graphics in HD :D)
This is what I want! I don’t want another Pokemon Z that’s just Pokemon X/Y with 2~3 new megas, move tutors, Battle Frontier, 1~2 new villians/important people, a predicatable/ bland story with Zygrade. :/
I agree, I’d much prefer a prequel. I think there’s more to AZ and his plan that wasn’t fully explored in X and Y.
As long as it is COMPLETELY different from XY but continues with gen 6, I’m fine.
What if they intend to link Gen 6&7 the same way they did with 1&2? I don’t think I have enough patience to wait for the next gen to know the rest of the story
I think this will be the case. So we can have 16 badges again in 1 game.
I also just noticed Nintendo DS had two generations of Pokemon on it (Gens 4 & 5) so it seems likely we will have Gen’s 6 & 6.5 or Gen’s 6 & 7 on 3ds
I would much rather have a prequel. Prequels are cool. I don’t want a new game for Wii U… I’d have to buy one and I can’t afford it. I think they should stick with the main series on portable platforms.
I agree with the not having to buy a Wii U part. But on the other hand, Gamecube’s Pokemon Colosseum & XD: Gale of Darkness were great games and I would love to see a follow up or at least a similar concept come to life
That, I would not mind. They were excellent spin offs. (While typing I hit the voice to text button on my phone, dammit.)
It’ll be interesting to see what they do. B2/W2 outsold Platinum despite Diamond and Pearl outselling B/W by over 5 million copies. If they can read their own numbers, they’ll make X2/Y2 as a sequel or prequel to rake in more cash.
No matter what they do, if it’s main game, for 3Ds, they be Rollin’ in dough.
Ahh I wouldn’t be too sure of that. X/Y are still at 12 millions units, while Diamond and Pearl are at 18 mil. Sure XY have only been out since October, but they advertised for it like crazy and were probably hoping for higher numbers.
If it were a prequel, what if:
There was a war long ago going on between “West” Kalos (region of XY) and “East” Kalos (to the East of those mountains on the map)? And you’re from either East Kalos and had to journey out to West Kalos because you were selected by your authority figure (the Champion) along with your new rival(s) to try to take over the enemy region by defeating the Champion and becoming the new one, or you’re from West Kalos (Snowbelle maybe?) and those from East Kalos seem as villains that are trying to take over West Kalos and you have to go to East Kalos (through Terminus Cave) and act as the big hero who saves West Kalos along with your rival(s) and stop them from taking over by collecting all the badges and defeating the champion, and East Kalos turns out to be filled with nice people (who hate the champion) except for the Champion who is one big tyrant and the E4 who are the minions. It would also explain why we get the West Sea Gastrodon while Kiloude City is obviously on the East of Kalos, and the reason that we get the West Sea Gastrodon in Kalos is because East Kalos lost the war and everyone there moved to West Kalos.
The West Kalos one seems more likely to happen IF this were the case

I’d like an awesome game on WiiU but not a main series game unless they also released it on 3DS. That would be so cool. If it was only for WiiU we wouldn’t be able to transfer the new pokemon to the 3DS (easily)
I would prefer the prequel, I don’t have a Wii U, and it’s much easier/more fun to play a main series pokemon game on a handheld.
Also I am personally waiting for move tutors since I don’t have the previous games so can’t use transfer moves 🙁
An episode is getting postponed, the one about the sunken ship with the Skrelp and Dragalge (is that how you spell it?). Probably due to the ship which sank in South Korea.

Before the episode, a major earthquake happened in Japan and they decided to suspend it indefinitely because the episode had to do with earthquakes. I believe the anime has never shown that move since.
I remember they showed a Probopass using Fissure in Sinnoh.
There was an earthquake a week before in aired. A major one in Japan. They cancelled it because the Whiscash in it cause earthquakes.
