Continuing our look back at the third Generation of Pokémon, we’re bringing you the next Ask PokéJungle.
Similarly to the second before it, Generation III is where a lot of trainers started their Pokémon Adventures, while, for others it was the third time they’d been introduced to a new batch of Pocket Monsters. Ruby and Sapphire undeniably introduced some of the biggest changes and additions to the series, including many that are still fan favourites today, such as secret bases.
If you’ve not already guessed, in this Jungle Asks we’re going to be focusing on all the Third Generation Pokémon games. We want to hear your questions! This is your chance to ask us and one another anything about the Third Generation, anything goes! So, yeah, have at it! Besides diving in 3D, I’m most looking forward to those volcanic ashey routes where you can encounter spinda. I bet the ash will look really cool in XY graphics.
I was thinking about that while playing Ruby on my phone. I wonder if Hoenn be changed like Kanto in G/S/C or if they’ll keep it the same.
They better change it. I don’t want a literal remake of Hoenn with just updated graphics. I want an updated story line etc. Instead of having Steven Stone look for crappy stones like Thunder/Fire etc, why not have him look for Mega Stones. Give us Metagrossite for beating him at the elite 4.
Make Brendan/May our neighborhood/journey friends (like Tierno/Trevor) and have us play as two new protagonists

the music !!!!! So many good things about gen 3. Abandonded Ship, Sky Pillar, high tides & low tides, secret bases, Trick House, the town thats up in the trees!! Ahh I need this game now.

Celebi event from bank ends at the end of September, Darkrai event with Phantom Force ends at the end of September… and September happens to the 10th aniv of Emerald (for japan, america’s is in 2015)… so they can possibly announce an Emerald remake in September or October.
and at e3 they could tease a new game but not announce what it is

I doubt it, the movies coming out and we haven’t even got hoopa or volcanion announced
They could always pull an “Azure Flute” where they don’t release them until the next gen lol.
Since R/S/E were so short, they could possibly just remake them, but add a lot more afterstory stuff. I mean, Hoenn was that big of a region, so I’m sure they’ll take full advantage of the game carts capacity. 8gigs of Pokemon? Yes please. The cut scenes in 3D would be amazing. And we all know graphics and battles improve with each new game, so they’d be even better more than likely.

They’d have to put that in. It’d be a remix of Emerald and the other two games probably.
HELL YES. Hoenn & Kalos are actually tied with the most cities (16), so Hoenn remake should out do them since they have 8GB to spare. Kalos also lacked a department store, so I would love to see Lilycove Department in 3D.
And going back to the short thing… I was gutted that we never got to face the final starter of our rival. This time they need to let our rival evolve their starter completely.
And make Mega stones harder to find. “Huntailite” only found if there is high tides, “Gorebyssite” found if there is low tides. And Put a mega stone on Mirage Island since that place never appears XD

Yup. XD I restarted my game for a normal colored one so many times it isn’t funny. I made the mistake of trading it in for $10 at game when it was probably worth ALOT more.

although in my first Sapphire I used Exploud in place of Hariyama and Altaria instead of Grumpig and Latios for my final slot
R/S/E Wasn’t too short. There might not have been too much surface area, but still you would have something to do at literally EVERY town. And all of the hoenn pokemon were beautiful. And it had one of the biggest improvement (G/S -> R/s/e) on graphics until BW -> XY came along.
