Ask PokéJungle: Generation III

Continuing our look back at the third Generation of Pokémon, we’re bringing you the next Ask PokéJungle.

Similarly to the second before it, Generation III is where a lot of trainers started their Pokémon Adventures, while, for others it was the third time they’d been introduced to a new batch of Pocket Monsters. Ruby and Sapphire undeniably introduced some of the biggest changes and additions to the series, including many that are still fan favourites today, such as secret bases.

If you’ve not already guessed, in this Jungle Asks we’re going to be focusing on all the Third Generation Pokémon games. We want to hear your questions! This is your chance to ask us and one another anything about the Third Generation, anything goes! So, yeah, have at it! And yes, just because I personally like the third generation the least, you can still ask me things…

  2. To Moving: Would you rather Gamefreak make an RSE Remake, RSE Sequel or something fresh that takes place in Hoenn? Personally, I wouldn’t be very excited for an RSE sequel if it was just RSE with Mega stones. I would like something fresh, something risky, something no one saw coming that keeps RSE nostalgia (and Trumpets) while being something fresh, like X/Y was with Red and Blue (i.e Santalune and Viridian forest and many other examples)

  4. You know what I would like for Hoenn remakes? A Team Plasma-ish climax. Standing at the top of Sky Tower with Team Aero ordering Rayquaza, with Rayquaza controlling Kyogre and Groudon, with hqvoc being wrecked on all land and water. Team Magma and Aqua teaming up to storm Sky Tower, with them falling and depending on you and May/Brendan to face Team Aero and save Rayquaza. You beat ——‘s team, and he sends Rayquaza, Kogre and Groudon after you. May/Brendan faces Kyogre, Wally comes in and faces Groudon, and you’re left to face Rayquaza. You beat/capture it, and — Idk anything past this. I personally think it’d be cool if Team Aqua/Magma then face you for some reason, but idk. Ideas?

    Most of the information needed can be found on serebii.

    BaseStats=
    GenderRate=
    GrowthRate=
    BaseEXP=
    EffortPoints=
    Rareness=
    Happiness=

    Color=
    Kind=
    Pokedex=

    This is pretty straight forward.

    Base stats would be something like 32,24,27,33,64,28. (Hp,Atk,Def,SpA,spD,Spe)

    Gender rate is actually one of the following:

    AlwaysMale
    FemaleOneEighth
    Female25Percent
    Female50Percent
    Female75Percent
    AlwaysFemale
    Genderless

    Growth Rate is:

    Fast
    Medium
    Slow
    Parabolic
    Erratic
    Fluctuating

    Compatibility is the egg groups:

    1 = Monster
    2 = Water 1
    3 = Bug
    4 = Flying
    5 = Ground
    6 = Fairy
    7 = Plant
    8 = Human-like
    9 = Water 3
    10 = Mineral
    11 = Amorphous
    12 = Water 2
    13 = Ditto
    14 = Dragon
    15 = does not breed

    Effort points is the EV gain.
    Ex. Defeating Gulpin gives 1 Health EV.

    Kind is the “The ______ Pokemon” whatever it usually is in the dex.

    Pokedex is just the entry :3
