Ask PokéJungle: Generation III

Continuing our look back at the third Generation of Pokémon, we’re bringing you the next Ask PokéJungle.

Similarly to the second before it, Generation III is where a lot of trainers started their Pokémon Adventures, while, for others it was the third time they’d been introduced to a new batch of Pocket Monsters. Ruby and Sapphire undeniably introduced some of the biggest changes and additions to the series, including many that are still fan favourites today, such as secret bases.

If you’ve not already guessed, in this Jungle Asks we’re going to be focusing on all the Third Generation Pokémon games. We want to hear your questions! This is your chance to ask us and one another anything about the Third Generation, anything goes! So, yeah, have at it! And yes, just because I personally like the third generation the least, you can still ask me things…

  1. After watching some analyzed Video of Greninja’s debut i speculated his Moves
    has this sound
Neutral B: Water Shuriken, your standard Chargeable Projectile
after some study Side B: Smokescreen, a Farore’s Wind Teleport to gain distance for attacks
Up B: a lot are saying Splash/Surf/Waterfall: a Pikachu zigzag recovery jump
Down B: Substitute: the typical Down B counter strike
Final Smash: Night Slash: a Great Aether styled final smash that traps the foe/s in a spot as Greninja slashes the opponents relentlessly then delivers the final Coup De Grace

also some interesting points are his advanced dodging (Dodge-rolling) and aerial mobility (Can zip back and forth with ease and can pounce opponents in the air and easily spring back up)
and for some smashes water katana slashes of different varieties and powerful kicks and slaps

          • well charizard and blaziken where they stand out starters from there respectful gen and the most popular. So it would make sense they would get “special” treatment

          • Charizard and Blaziken weren’t the only starters to get Megas. All I’m saying is every starter should get a mega, it’s only right. Everyone’s given their choice of starter at the beginning of the game, everyone has their favorite, every starter should get a mega, and will eventually I believe. Can’t overwhelm the first game with all megas, because then nothing to create hype for future games.

          • Mawile, bannette, ampharos, blastoise. They are all UU and many more are too, it’s just mixed

          • ampharos and blastoise are both pretty popular and I thinked they talked about buffing weaker pokemon to make them more used

  3. Do we still have Darkrai Luther King Jr. as one of our many memes here on PJN? Because he has a Dream, that one day, ALL starters will Mega Evolve!
