It seems like only yesterday I started the Journey to X & Y article series, when in actuality it’s fast approaching six months since I did! Admittedly the inferno of hype for X & Y has flickered down into a smouldering cinder, but that’s expected, the games are out. Many of our readers enjoyed the articles we ran last year, and we’ve decided to continue the generation weeks we failed to complete before the release of the games. They’ll be a little different however—just a title change really, but still a heap of fun!
In Roar of Time we asked our readers what they would add to older games, if they gained the ability to travel back in time and make any change or additions they wanted. This time round it’s the same deal! If you could take control of Dialga and morph time back to the early development stages of Ruby and Sapphire (or any of the other Third Generation games!), what would you change? What would you take away? What would you add?
We don’t want you to be too outrageous here, keep things realistic. You could also pick something completely obvious, but what’s the fun in that? As we said in the first article don’t forget to consider how your change or addition would have an effect on the future of Pokémon games.
Get those brains working and tell us your ideas, we’ll be featuring our favourites in the next Roar of Time (who can guess what that will focus on?)

Really good. Maybe get rid of Stockpile for Giga Drain? If you can get gigadrain of course.

Maybe spread out the EVs in Sp. Defense to Defense as well. Cradily is mainly weak to physical types iirc.
I am not much of a branch ev person. I like to do two max stats. But if I would what would you recommend?
Half and half for both. I’m not good with EVs, I just estimate >.<

I use a Cradily. Like that, but it has Suctiom Cups and Rock slide instead of Mirror Coat. It’s REALLY hard to use because it can be easily taken down. I recommend Trick Room support for it.

I like it. I don’t care for Mirror Coat though. Plus you’d be screwed if that was your last Pokemon. I recommend at least Toxic somewhere on it.

In case anyone is curious or doesn’t know, the entire nintendo direct on April 8th will be focused on the new super smash bros. I didn’t expect any pokemon news of course but hopefully we hear something soonish!
Hopefully we get some new characters, more details of the adventure mode, and more stages.
I’d love if they added some more pokemon to play as. Not a big fan of pokemon trainer. I always waterfall off of the edge as squirtle and Charizard is too slow and can barely fly for long which makes no sense.
I’m hoping for Mewtwo, a New Pokemon Trainer from new regions, Zoroark, and some Dragon type.
That’d be awesome. I never got the chance to play as mewtwo in the old smash bros game. And if he could mega evolve that’d be cool. Though I’d prefer Mewtwo Y personally. Zoroark would be really cool too.

I want the final season of Pokémon to have this plot:
Ash finds out that becoming a Pokémon Master is an impossible feat because no one knows how to become one. So he and his friends travel to Kanto where Ash can take Scott’s offer to become a Frontier Brain. He’ll take Brandon’s position because Brandon wants to retire. Of course this means that the other Frontier Brains can return too!!!
We all know that Pokemon will never have a final season ;(. BUT THIS. THIS IS AMAZING
With how fantastic XY seems to be, how much Ash has matured (maybe not fully, but at least he’s not a dolt), and how much the writers are pushing Amourshipping, I think it’s possible that this XY Series is the final series of Pokémon.

I was going through Serebii simply out of boredom and I noticed that both the Darkrai event that’s going to be given out in Japan during the next movie( via a serial code on the ticket) and the Celebi you get from PokeBank both end on September 30th and are the longest expiry dates for events so far revealed. I don’t know if this is just me just wanting information on a new Pokemon game but here’s hoping that they reveal something around October.
That’s some good observation! I’m sure something will be announced that month. If not, here’s hoping that E3 gives us something.
