Citing “irreconcilable differences” and a “love of rumors and speculation”, Serebii Joe has decided to prematurely terminate his relationship with our site. No one is more shocked and hurt by this news than myself, but I think we can get through this together 😉

Hope you guys liked our little April Fools’ prank! The layout will be staying for now, because it is a nice shade of green and the Celebi does look kinda cute. Let’s hope for some real news this month!

    • I remember taking a screenshot of the Misdreavous line before they would be retyped to Ghost/Fairy. They weren’t, but I think I still have the pictures! XD

    • I wish I could have that same nostalgic feeling as you Xatu-san. I was introduced to the Mario and Luigi Series via Psygon’s desire to own Partners in Time.

      • To be honest, I was so young by the time Partners in Time came out that I wasn’t even aware of its release and got it randomly at Costco. Same thing happened for Drill Dozer, it was on sale for 7 bucks at Target when I was about seven years old. If I never made the decision to buy it, I would be an entirely different person. The game is literally in my favorite 4 games of all time.

        • My bro begged our mom to buy him Partners in Time from Walmart one day. It’s funny. We knew nothing about it, but it was a Mario game, and he wanted it.

          He was quite young though. He must have been six years old since he’s about one year younger than you. Anyway, I played the game for him, and he watched. I enjoyed it! When he got older, he played it on his own, and ever since then, he’s been playing the sequels while I watch. LOL the tables have turned now. He’s the one that’s super good at them, but I enjoy watching him play them anyway.

            My sister walks by just as I display my five shiny profile stars for Super Mario 3D World and I tell her the significance, but it just doesn’t matter to her. XD

          • It’s ok Xatu. We all appreciate each other’s achievements. Your sis may not be much of a gamer. But you two must share some things in common at least. Right?

          • No…not really at all. I play video games all day, participate in the culture and know more about it than any 15-year-old should. I also have social anxiety so I VERY rarely have friends at our house. On the flip side, my sister is at dance classes all day, as girls do, and has friends over ALL the time, which does more than pissing me off.

          • I see. Well, sisters are usually like that, at least, that’s what I’ve heard. Must be because of the gender difference. As long as you two get along, even if a bit, well, things will be all good.

  6. There’s a reference to Luigi’s Mansion in Superstar Saga, I just remembered! And Luigi has the Poltergust 5000 in Smash now, that’s another reference.

    Oh yeah, I still need to make a pilgrimage to Gamestop to pre-order Smash Bros.

  21. I painted a ball and put it on top of 2 cups. I covered the cups with aluminum tape and The result was an April fools day Trophy! I gonna post picture now.
