Happy Pi day everyone! You may be wondering: “Why is there hardly any news on Pokéjungle?”. Well, the reason is clear. There is just no news we find worthwhile to post. Unlike other sites, we’re not a news site but a community blog. We strive to inject news with our opinions and experiences. There just isn’t anything substantial to comment on. Other websites try to gather every sliver of news they can find to give you the notion something’s going on. Hey, if you book tickets for a movie in Japan you got a Pokémon everyone already has, now everyone go buy those tickets. Also, it’s good to know Trozei is less than 50 megabyte to download! How much exactly? We don’t know but it’s less than 50 so your life should be complete by now! Now give us all those clicks, you thought this news was an act of charity?
We’re not doing that. The things we’d love to give you however, are rumours. Sadly, we are back in that dreadfully slow news period in between game release and game announcements. So we’re going to try something different today. Let’s make up our own rumours! Everyone posts their craziest or most credible take on the next Pokémon games in the comments and maybe even act as an inside source for other their rumours. After the actual games get announced, I will link back to this thread so we can see who was right and who made the most stupendous rumour!

I have a question on the game you guys are making.. Have you guys made all the pokemon for the regional dex?
We already have all through Gen 5 premade, I think. We need to do Gen 6 and new Pokemon.
Gen 6 premade as well. But out of the fakemon around 10 or so are made I think

I’m working on Gen 6. I used a free to use Flabebe that i found online and I’ve only sprited Fletchling for it. Which is about 96% done cause i need to put some finishing touches on the backsprite.

I’m working on spriting and adding Gen 6 pokemon. All cries have been added. 2/69 Pokemon are made. Fairy type now exists. Fairy Arceus and Pixie plate now exist. Flower Veil exists but the ability does nothing so far. I’ve done a bit of script editing for abilities and items but that’s about all.

How do you make sprites? what softwere?
You can use any program.
I use Paint.Net which is a free program that allows you to have multiple layers.
I put white in the background so i can see what errors i made with the sprite and fix them.
I use black as the primary outline and sketch out with something like blue in a separate layer so i have an initial idea of what it’s going to look like.
I start with sprites of pokemon similar to relative size so that i know the limits of how big or small i could make it.
So
Layer one: White
Layer Two: Sprite
Layer Three: Rough Sketch
They both look great! And I can really see the Ground, nor Rock type in Sproot. But man, I wish these were in an official Pokémon.
Can you at the very least color in the little “Bowtie” thing it has going on (the white part)?
