JungleTalk: Rumour Time!

by

Happy Pi day everyone! You may be wondering: “Why is there hardly any news on Pokéjungle?”. Well, the reason is clear. There is just no news we find worthwhile to post. Unlike other sites, we’re not a news site but a community blog. We strive to inject news with our opinions and experiences. There just isn’t anything substantial to comment on. Other websites try to gather every sliver of news they can find to give you the notion something’s going on. Hey, if you book tickets for a movie in Japan you got a Pokémon everyone already has, now everyone go buy those tickets. Also, it’s good to know Trozei is less than 50 megabyte to download! How much exactly? We don’t know but it’s less than 50 so your life should be complete by now! Now give us all those clicks, you thought this news was an act of charity?

We’re not doing that. The things we’d love to give you however, are rumours. Sadly, we are back in that dreadfully slow news period in between game release and game announcements. So we’re going to try something different today. Let’s make up our own rumours! Everyone posts their craziest or most credible take on the next Pokémon games in the comments and maybe even act as an inside source for other their rumours. After the actual games get announced, I will link back to this thread so we can see who was right and who made the most stupendous rumour!

Sounds like a plan? Get rumour-mongering already. Happy commenting! Also, those rumours of mine were totally fake as expected. They were my entry for this article sent back in time by my internet time machine. Seems the thing does its job well.

  1. Should the electric e4 be a male or female guitarist? (I think they were decided to be a guitarist… Or something like that…)

  14. Sakurai is a troll. Everyone expected Yoshi’s announcement today, and he didn’t make it happen. And I was going to pre-order Smash and everything! D: But that fat Little Mac caused me to learn about Captain Rainbow, which looks AWESOME and now I want him for Smash.

  16. RUMOR- I heard from a reliable source, known as FrostByte, that the Hoenn remakes, to be dubbed PyroRuby and CryoSapphire, will be announced this summer and release in Spring 2015. The region will be slightly altered; water routes will have more land, like islands, and land routes will have some lakes on them for balance, so that on water routes, you can catch some land-based Pokémon. Also, I think he said something about being able to get Sinnoh starters…

  19. Man I’ve been waiting to get this somewhere for a long time now, You have no clue how many ideas have been piling up in my head
-The new region is called Rolam, and is based off of Mesoamerica
-There will be roughly 120 new Pokemon introduced
-The starters are a Grass type chameleon that evolves into a blinded, tailless Grass/Ghost type Chameleon, A Fire type calf that evolves into a Fire type buffalo (with some prairie Indian influenced design), and a Water type sea snake that evolves into a Water/Poison type sea serpent.
-The two main legendaries represent Tradition and Innovation, and will be Ghost/Dragon and Electric/Steel type respectively.
-There are two evil teams, Oracle and Circuit
-Depending on which game you buy, one team will be the antagonists while the other will be helping you along your journey
-There will be two champions who are a couple, They will each wear a half of the same mask and the one you fight at the end is random. Once you beat (one of) the champion(s), they switch out every time you challenge the elite four to a rematch.
-Colress is a member of the elite four
And that’s all I’ll put up for now, please don’t use without permission (assuming of course this is actually worth using) I’d love if you guys told me what you think and how I could make this better (assuming this article isn’t completely abandoned already)

  20. New region based off of South America, dubbed the Latina Region.
    The starters:
Grass – Parrot that evolves into a Grass/Flying Macaw with amazingly beautiful and long tail feathers.
Fire – Bug that evolves into a Fire/Bug Millipede with Fire bursting from it’s back and spikes.
Water – Phirana that evolves into a Water/Electric Shark with over sized teeth and a chunk of its side showing its ribs.

Legendaries are based off of Mayans. One is based off of a monkey with tribal tattoos which is Fire/Dark Type. The other is a majestic hawk with lightning bolts wrapping around its wings which is Grass/Electric type.
