They’ve also seemingly posted its shiny form, seen above. On the official site the Pokédex entry confirms it’s relation to Carbink as well.

My theory is that u can use a item that carbink can transform into diancie or Carbink is actaully the cacoon of diancie

A sudden transformation from Carbink? What if Diancie was a Carbink that was exposed to a permanent Mega Evolution? Carbink’s BST is 500, and we’re assuming that Diancie’s BST is 600!
Yup they are. Diancie’s stats are the same as Carbink’s, just add 50 to both defenses and that’s its 100 stat increase.

but if it was a Mega Evolution, it would be called Mega Carbink instead of Diancie. I just think it has something to do with the carbon/diamond compounds transforming over 1,000’s of years.

i think we will get a carbink event.. A speical carbink where we bring it to relefection cave secret room and it transform into diancie and u can re battle for diancie making it able to get it shiny form

but it is a legendary… its even refered to as mythical. I just think its the creator or cause of Mega Evolution… It’s made up of Morganite gem stones and morganite ends with “ite” like all mega evolution stones.

so i can say that we could see hoopa and Volcanion in the next games instead of x/y unless they rush events

Hoopa is a different story though. I can’t seem to relate him to anything to do with XY besides the ghost girl…

The Shiny model already exists, they have to make a Shiny model for every Pokemon. They just Shiny lock certain Pokemon for some reason :'(
because some pokemon are just meant to be only one in the pokemon world, until gamefreak says otherwise
