Diancie Officially Revealed in CoroCoro Leak! [UPD]

Although fans have known about it for awhile, #719 Diancie has finally been revealed! This Fairy/Rock-type Pokémon will star in this summer’s movie. Its title has been updated to Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie.

UPD: Clearer scans confirm that Diancie has the ability Clear Body. Corocoro will also give out one time use serial codes to receive a Charizard with the opposite Megastone for your game. This only pertains to Japan for now, but we might see an international distribution for this in the future (we hope). It does mean that you don’t have to fear for missing out on cool megastones!

What do you think about this new legendary Pokémon?!

  1. I need to construct a simple machine consisting of two simple machines. I already have created a model of each simple machine (pulley and lever) to show how each of them work independently. I need to create anothe rmodel of what some may call a complex machine, where there are two or more (in this case, the pulley and the lever) combined. I need some inspiration for what I could build and what I could build it out of; a simple machine that has a lever and pulley combined.
    Criteria:
I have to know what it is used for nowadays and why it is important. I don’t just want a complex machine with no purpose and no knowledge of an everyday use. Please, someone, give me some ideas. I have this due for class on the 21st, and we will be presenting to the class and be scored on our presentation. This model is VITAL. I appreciate all help and suggestions from anyone, and please, on my behalf, take this seriously.

  2. I get it now. Diancie is the reason for Mega Evolutions, due to the movie being about it and she shares the same colour as the stone formation, that allows you to spot Mega Stones.

  3. Pokemon Challenge (by DICIE). 🙂

You have set off into the PokeWorld. It is the year 1666 (emphasis on 666), and a terrible evil is coming your way. Fate chooses your PokeColony.

    Choose a die.
An even number roll means you are able to choose from two colonies (first 2).
An odd number roll means you are able to choose from four colonies (last 4).

    Normal, Steel, and Dark
    Dragon, Bug, and Flying

    Poison, Psychic, and Ghost
    Fire, Water, and Electric
    Grass, Ground, and Ice
    Rock, Fairy, and Fighting

If Fairy cannot be chosen, it is replaced with Water. Water stands for both colonies in that sense.

Once your colony has been chosen, you are given a Rule Handbook. Depending on your chosen colony, certain rules apply:
NSD- Not allowed to heal up during a battle.
DBF- Not allowed to use Pokemon Centers.
PPG- Not allowed to buy items.
FWE- Not allowed to leave a Gym once it is entered.
GGI- Not allowed to use fully evolved Pokemon.
RFF- Not allowed to save the game.

All fates above are negative. To get away from a fate, you will need to use a Random Number Generator to choose your fate. You will input a 1 to 100 radius.

    Even Number- Fate dismissed.
Odd Number- A positive fate is given.
Greater than 50- You will keep the fate.
Smaller than 50- A positive fate is given.
    Prime Number- Fate dismissed.
Composite Number- You will keep the fate.

Depending on the roll, you will either keep your fate, get a positive fate, or get no fate.

    General Rules:
You may only use Pokemon of your colony, and only catch Pokemon of your colony. The starter is an exception, and must be released ASAP. If the game continues with a starter after you have reached the first Pokemon Center to release it, you are disqualified.
    TBD

    THOUGHTS?

    • Thoughts so far:
      1. The roll – some of the numbers seem to overlap, obviously there are even numbers more than 50 for example. Which set of rolls will you use and are each 2 conditions independent of each other (for example it’s always evens vs odds or primes vs composites but not both conditions at the same time)
      2. The positive fates, what are they?
      3. Prime vs composite seems brutal.
      4. Not being able to save seems mega harsh. Anyway, if you think it should remain, I think it should be given to the FWE group instead as pokemon in that group are usually more powerful and easy to come by.

      • 1. Not sure about your point here.
        2. Positive fates. Being able to use Pokemon of another colony is one. Not sure about more.
        3. Um… Not sure about your point here either.
        4. That’s what I thought in the first place. The alternative will probably be not being able to use one of your types. For example, if your colony is Rock, Fairy and Fighting, you will only be allowed to use Rock and Fairy. This is bad because you do not get to pick which type to not use. This is determined through a dice roll. For example, rolling a 1 or a 2 will not allow you to use Rock, 3 or 4 for Fairy, etc.

NOTE: I am not being a smartass or ignorant, I’d just like some additional, clearer information on numbers 1 and 3, based on the message you are trying to send.
NOTE TWO: I appreciate you taking the time to read this and give me feedback, I greatly appreciate it. 😀

        • No prob! Ok, well the problem with the rolling part is that there seems to be some overlap. What if you roll 56, that means you get fate dismissed (even), keep the fate (more than 50, and composite number) at the same time?

          • Ah, I see here. This’ll have to be revised. Then I will have to rethink the process for dismissing fates.
            Possibilities:
Be given a set of Pokemon questions.
If there are 10, and you answer 3 or lower correctly, you keep the fate.
            4-6, no fate.
            7-10, positive fate

            OR

            Be given a trainer battle?
            Best out of two:
            Lose both- keep fate
            Win one- no fate
            Win both- positive fate

  4. Why do they keep calling info coming from Coro Coro “leaks”? Isn’t this mag as official as they come? Or is this mag some sort of video game tabloid bwehehehe.

Also, Carbink’s typing isn’t that great, this legendary has to have something real special to make up for being Fairy/Rock.

Also, inb4 Diancie can be bred and has Carbink offspring.
