PJM – Poll’s closed! Results are in

After three days I decided to close down the PJM poll. The winners were clearly decided so it wouldn’t have mattered if it were open longer. Let’s get to the results shall we?

Retro section

  1. Pokémon Colosseum – 43%
  2. Pokémon Snap – 26%
  3. Pokémon Stadium – 23%
  4. Hey You! Pikachu – 6%
  5. Pokémon Dash – 2%

In a surprising-but-maybe-not-so-surprising move, Pokémon Colosseum comes out on top. It was the first console game tied the third generation games and the first console game to feature a true storyline. I do wonder how many of the voters actually played it, as in my experience it feel rather short of its expectations. The fact that you could not catch Pokémon and had to ‘snag’ them from others in addition to purifying them (not fun at all) bereft quite a bit of the fun. It was also too linear too my tastes. Anyway, we have to do it and we will put someone else on it to write the article who is more positively geared towards Colosseum! Read in the magazine (when it gets released… one day)!

Spotlight games

  1. Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald – 63%
  2. Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum – 23%
  3. Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal – 8%
  4. Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow – 6%

As expected, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald take the crown, and the competition wasn’t even close at all. It may have to do something with upcoming remake announcements, but I’m not really sure. Maybe it’s just because they feature the best region of all time. This will be written by myself, I quite like RSE :).

Favorite Eeveelution

  1. Umbreon – 33%
  2. Glaceon – 19%
  3. Espeon – 13%
  4. Sylveon – 11%
  5. Jolteon – 10%
  6. Leafeon – 6%
  7. Flareon – 5%
  8. Vaporeon – 3%

And Umbreon gets chosen as our readers favorite! He will be happy to hear he gets a page dedicated to him full of joyful details! His brothers and sisters will get their time to shine eventually.

This is also my last article for the coming two weeks. With the exams nearly ending, I will leave this Friday on a skiing trip to the lovely Alps. I will be back somewhere in the week beginning on Monday 10th. Be nice to each other and happy commenting!

  3. RZE winning was expected, I think that after the remakes RBY will get more love. The eeveelution poll looks weird, Umbreon higher than glaceon and sylveon higher than leafeon?

  9. you know if nintendo is having problem with sales for the wii u .. why not just put games like animal crossing and pokemon on the wii u for once? just to see how it turns out. i bet itd turn out awesome. then again, x and y just came out ….

  24. Today in school we were playing hockey, and one of the poplar bullies tackled me on to the ground and I hit my head against the wall.
    He apologized like a lot but I’m so mad.
    I think I broke my butt.
