This year was certainly a memorable one in the Poké-verse. Almost a full year ago we were treated to a Pokémon direct that revealed Generation VI of the main series. Many had wondered what other colors or gems there were left to use for their names, but The Pokémon Company surprised us all by announcing Pokémon X & Pokémon Y. These two new games boasted features fans had only dreamed of, including 3D graphics, trainer customization, and a global release. Then came the 9 months of waiting for them to come out. We all persevered however and everyone was kept up to date on all the minute revalations right here at PJN 😉
Along with Generation VI, 2013 also saw a new Pokémon movie, Genesect and the Legend Awakened, as well as a new anime season featuring the cast of Pokémon X & Y. New TCG sets based on the game also debuted.

Staff: Favorite Moments of 2013
PJ: My favorite Pokémon memory of 2013 was probably getting to go to the Pokémon Game Show. It was a first for the series and the event was super fun. I also got a chance to play Pokémon X & Y early which was a blast (but made me even more impatient)! Obviously another great moment was the release of X & Y. They’re great games and being able to start my own adventure was something I had waited to do since they were announced. Lastly, I’d just like to say that 2013 was a year of exciting growth for this site and it really has been a privilege to deliver news to all of you and read your comments on all our posts. I’ve also really enjoyed working alongside all of the staff here. Here’s to a great 2014!
moving: 2013 has been a pretty big year for me. My activity and work on the site increased hugely and it now feels like I’ve become a proper part of the site (hopefully the other staff and visitors agree!), and I’m proud to say I’ve been a part of PokéJungle.nets biggest and busiest year yet. It’s difficult to fit all of my highlights of the year into a couple of sentences, so I won’t even try… However one of my favourite moments was in the week before X & Y released, the staff were all up in arms about who would be doing what and who would get their copy of the game first. Then, two days early I received my game shortly after Sammydodger and properly kicked off our in-depth coverage. There’s absolutely loads I could pick, but that will do for now, perhaps more in the comments… 2014? Bring it on!

Looking Forward to 2014
A new year means new possibilities. We already know of one release we’ll get: Pokémon Bank. After it’s rocky launch and subsequent removal in Japan, only time will tell when it will be released worldwide. Hopefully soon though! The next year could also bring new surprises for fans. Spin-offs? Remakes? Who knows what will be announced. One thing’s for sure though… we’ll do our best here at PJN to report it first! So we hope you’ll stick with us and come along for the ride 😀

there are a lot of purple flowers. But the move tutor is by a river, not a lake, and that river is EAST to the flowers, not west like shown.
The map also excludes Kiloude City. And underneath the Y (logo) you can see grass underneath the clouds. Thats where the new region is. East of Kalos. East Gastrodon was the giveaway (missing from the game)
That’s what I’m expecting too! 😀 Maybe it will be like a franc/germany kind of thing, where west kalos is more fancy and such, and the east kalos is more industrial

Yesss I knew it would be to the right of Kalos/Couriway.
East Gastrodon missing from the game was a dead giveaway
It could be like how two regions are connected such as jhoto to kanto, as well as jhoto to sinnoh
that is whats going to happen.
Its why theres another train in Lumiose station that drives through couriway to the east
There’s a lot of kanto pokemon so maybe it is connected to the north of kanto
the 5 other regions were confirmed to have been faraway from kalos
unova not even close
IMO they put pretty much every Kanto/Johto poke in the game to show that there not remaking RBY. It would be pointless too.
-We already chose our Kanto starter in XY
-We already caught our Mewtwo post elite 4
-We already awakened the snorlax blocking the road
-We already caught the 3 birds.
Yeah I guess, maybe cause it’s a Mediterranean biosphere(Southern kalos) we may get something near hoenn from the next gen due to a ferry trip or a nearby island

Dear fellow Pokejunglers who have awaited my givaway:
I have found the source of my problem involving the HA Snivy. When 20 minutes ago I came back from setting the table, I decided to have another crack at breeding the Snivy I got through WT. I discovered as I pulled it out of my box that it did indeed have overgrow. I don’t know what made me think that it had contrary. Maybe it was because it was next to my thief inkay I dunno but it was my own fault. I’m sorry for getting your hopes up and I sincerely apologise. The givaway will still go underway in 1 hour approx with counterless 5iv pokemon and a shiny up for grabs. I also have 3 boxes of regular timid snivy if you want. Again,sorry for the inconvenience and I am immensely sorry.

2013 | Had the Best PKMN news of the Year. I swear the unveiling of X & Y was the most hype I was for a PKMN game! Mostly, when Mega Evolution was shown to the public! This was a great year and I enjoyed everyone and everything that happened in it! I’m looking forward to new PKMN news in 2014 and the unveiling of new games.

Wasn’t there rumors around the time of X and Y’s announcement that alot of Unova pokemon were going to get evolutions?
It was the exact opposite none old pokemon evolutions and Unova didn’t even get mega evolutions

still makes sense we got 70 new pokemonm plus the east region could have a other 70 new ones making it about 140-145 in that sense meaning evolution and pre of oldies can still happen
If there is a region next to Kalos, Unova pokemon better get mega evos, because Unova had the most potential of Mega evolutions IMO.

So basically it was planned that kalos was going to be like Kanto to Johto and the the new region could possible be end with a Os like how Kanto and Johto Both ended with A TO and K is in kalos like Kanto so could the new region for Jalos or something to that matter. We still got the legendarys and the other megas of latios and latias. They arent many locations where these events could spawn or something so basically i hope that a other region could include differnt areas to trigger this events. Plus the hiker alos gives a u a survinior of the legend of the pokemon from a unknown region. So hinting at the rumors pokemon Z or it wont even be called that lets Say it Be like Pokemon V and W and baiscally i end with it the myster train that doesnt go anywhere could hint at the next region since it Faces to the east.
