Remember Pokémon Bank, the 3DS app that lets you transfer your old Pokémon to Pokémon X&Y? Well, it’s now released on the eShop! Wait, what’s that you say? The eShop is down? Pokémon Bank isn’t on the eShop? Ohh, I see now! Apparantly too many people bought a 3DS and Wii U as Christmas presents and the network went down from everyone wanting to download their system updates and digital games. Nintendo didn’t think the Wii U would actually sell, so I guess they took no preparations.

Luckily we’re all going to be paying $5 a year so we have reliable Bank servers, so Pokémon Bank should go live the moment the eShop goes back up, right? Nope. As the eShop servers went down, they took the online storage servers of Bank with them. Even if you had downloaded the game, it still wouldn’t work. So much for seperate, reliable servers. Just hope the $5 goes to development of RSE remakes instead of a new sportscar for each Gamefreak executive. Pokémon Bank has now got the tentative release date of To be determined which is not of much help. Still, I’d expect it in the next week or two, once the Christmas/New Year’s rush cools down.

Hope you all had a nice, exhausting Christmas, like I had! I also hope you don’t have to study like I do! I’m going to tackle Organic Chemistry for a while, see you soon. I also didn’t forget about PJM, an update will go live in the coming days.

    • thats exactly why serebii is running tests on it.
      in japanese it read exactly as the one from B2W2…

      they never knew it affected masuda in gen 5 either until they mined the data.

      I’ll def test some eggs later tonight when I come back home.

  16. rotlmfao jesus christ… i’m still missing 1 pokemon… Ambipom… can somebody let me see theres really quick? I have dex provider as well….

    So its definitely 705 to complete dex then.
    Ambipom will bring me to 707 but thats cause of Jirachui/Phione

  21. I don’t know what time it is for everybody, it is 7:25PM my time. I am leaving for now. I been in the house all day working on completing dex (was at 500 something pokemonwhen I woke up this morning so you can do it too lol). I’ll be back around 9 or 10ish my time and if anyone is still on i’ll trade etc with them around then. I have to shower and going out with a friend, I reek and hungry and Pokemon kilt me lol. I’ll be back later.

    Here are the 3 boxes of pokemon you guys can have for free (but im leaving atm so if you really need them just hold off)… I don’t want the pokes back so if i trade you them you keep them to make the trades go quicker.

    • happened to me yesterday. tried to tell someone and they didn’t believe it was possible. I’m like I’m pretty sure I heard the whizzing sound and seen the ball shake in the air and the poke still hopped out lol. Didn’t think it can happen
