Remember Pokémon Bank, the 3DS app that lets you transfer your old Pokémon to Pokémon X&Y? Well, it’s now released on the eShop! Wait, what’s that you say? The eShop is down? Pokémon Bank isn’t on the eShop? Ohh, I see now! Apparantly too many people bought a 3DS and Wii U as Christmas presents and the network went down from everyone wanting to download their system updates and digital games. Nintendo didn’t think the Wii U would actually sell, so I guess they took no preparations.
Luckily we’re all going to be paying $5 a year so we have reliable Bank servers, so Pokémon Bank should go live the moment the eShop goes back up, right? Nope. As the eShop servers went down, they took the online storage servers of Bank with them. Even if you had downloaded the game, it still wouldn’t work. So much for seperate, reliable servers. Just hope the $5 goes to development of RSE remakes instead of a new sportscar for each Gamefreak executive. Pokémon Bank has now got the tentative release date of To be determined which is not of much help. Still, I’d expect it in the next week or two, once the Christmas/New Year’s rush cools down.
Hope you all had a nice, exhausting Christmas, like I had! I also hope you don’t have to study like I do! I’m going to tackle Organic Chemistry for a while, see you soon. I also didn’t forget about PJM, an update will go live in the coming days.

Yes. Mine outspeeds most pokes already. Give it a choice scarf/specs and charge beam and it’s outstanding.

That is true. Any type (except Rock, Ice, and Grass) paired with Fairy is a great type combination.

As someone previously said, the Japanese description of the item is exactly the same as it was in gen 5, which would seem to imply that there was simply a translation mistake in the US version. I checked some Japanese resources to confirm this.

shesh im really having a hard time knowing which legendaries i absolutely need and which ones i dont x_x is there a list somewhere?
I don’t have a list sadly. I think the Event Legendaries are legendaries that are IMPOSSIBLE to catch in the wild. That would be Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy (can’t catch it, but you can get it as an egg), Keldeo, Genesect, and Meloetta. I think there’s more, but IDK.
In case you’re wondering, I didn’t add Mew because it’s catchable in Emerald, via an event ticket though.
I think she was back in DPPT. I’m might be wrong though. I just remember something about a sailor and Byron or something of the sort.
Cresselia can be caught without the need for a event download in DPP, which makes her a non-event.

I will end my eventful day now. I did nothing all day. Then I worked out, ate, choked on doughnuts which I feel bad about now, attempted to Masuda a Squirtle but didn’t finish, got some unobtainable starters and other pokes and bred a shiny Oshawott first egg on accident. And had an epic battle with Ziia and her terrifying Lucario. Not bad. I feel like my inner trainer has come back.
