Please Stand By. You Broke The eShop (And Bank)

Remember Pokémon Bank, the 3DS app that lets you transfer your old Pokémon to Pokémon X&Y? Well, it’s now released on the eShop! Wait, what’s that you say? The eShop is down? Pokémon Bank isn’t on the eShop? Ohh, I see now! Apparantly too many people bought a 3DS and Wii U as Christmas presents and the network went down from everyone wanting to download their system updates and digital games. Nintendo didn’t think the Wii U would actually sell, so I guess they took no preparations.

Luckily we’re all going to be paying $5 a year so we have reliable Bank servers, so Pokémon Bank should go live the moment the eShop goes back up, right? Nope. As the eShop servers went down, they took the online storage servers of Bank with them. Even if you had downloaded the game, it still wouldn’t work. So much for seperate, reliable servers. Just hope the $5 goes to development of RSE remakes instead of a new sportscar for each Gamefreak executive. Pokémon Bank has now got the tentative release date of To be determined which is not of much help. Still, I’d expect it in the next week or two, once the Christmas/New Year’s rush cools down.

Hope you all had a nice, exhausting Christmas, like I had! I also hope you don’t have to study like I do! I’m going to tackle Organic Chemistry for a while, see you soon. I also didn’t forget about PJM, an update will go live in the coming days.

        • when i first started pokemon y and had practically no knowledge to the depth of pokemon, me losing to people in battle spot just made me want to understand pokemon more and make better teams D:
it inspired me to learn how to get better IVs, EV train, understand natures and all that stuff even though I found it hard.
you shouldnt give up from losing, you should want to get better and beat the people you lost to before :c

          • maybe theres just some spots you need improving on more than others? maybe you should battle more people here and ask them what it is you should improve on

          • I do,its just my battle style.
I try to predict it always fails
I build my team terribly no matter how hard I try
I used ous and still manage to fail while being called a noob

          • listening to those insults isnt gonna help or fix anything. surrounding yourself around a negative environment only makes improving harder cause youre getting the wrong influences x:<

how many people here have you exactly battled?

          • maybe its some of the movesets youre using? and predictions?
i dont wanna throw them out there but after battling me a lot of times, you should pick up on some stuff i do depending on the move/pokemon you send out o: and some moves are predictable just by seeing the pokemon. like with a greninja, i know a scald or ice beam is coming, however whenever i run into a goodra, i never know cause hes so varied in movesets

also having 1-2 bulky pokemons to through out is good when you dont know what theyre gonna use, then youd want that bulky pokemon to have a lot of move types to take out the opponent. an assault vest goodra would be a good example XD

          • I predicted Regi like a magician, his Clefable used protect(which I actually suspected to be a Moonblast) and I thankfully changed the tide by using calm mind on my espeon

  1. Battling someone named Y and their using Kyogre/Palkia/Darkrai/Dialga/Mawile/Yveltal.

Hope I win so I can save the battle video
