A new patch has just (well, ‘just’) gone live, fixing several things for Pokémon X and Y. You can download it on the eShop now and it is required if you want to do online. The change log is as follows:
Patch 1.2
- Fixes an occasional bug causing Pokémon not to learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade.
- Fixes an occasional bug where certain captions for Trainer PR Videos were not unlocked in Lumiose City.
- Updates an Internet communication issue.
What Internet communication issue are they talking about? Well, it fixes the data snooping, essentially killing both Battle Analyser and Instacheck. If you didn’t know about them, Battle Analyser allowed you to see your opponents move sets and even the move they selected that turn before you selected yours. Instacheck allowed you to see the Shiny Values of your Pokémon, essentially making you put some effort into shiny hunting again. So for all those cheaters out there: too bad!
It’s currently unknown if the update will stand the test of time but we know for sure Gamefreak is doing all they can to ban ‘illegitimate’ practices. Now we only have to wait for the patch that fixes the barren endgame.
~Daedardus~, stuck on a deserted island with his textbooks, can only post through internet-in-a-bottle
I just found a Scraggy with Intimidate in a horde. How do I know which one it is?
Guess
good luck.

Sorry to ask so much, but may I have the one not picked please? From this monment on I’ll do my own breeding sorry!
??? I understand I’m asking so much, but just say no then.
Lol, of course you can have the other one. I got my ideal one as well, so they’re all up for grabs
*grabs one not picked by starbits*
We need to Metronome and find these moves.
Maybe they added them in this update?
Maybe, wanna do it? And I have her when you’re ready to trade. I’m also trading something else a little earlier. Mind trading me back the perfect Deino?
Sure. Don’t give me what I think you are planning on giving me…
Oh, ok =/
Thank you for NJ2 🙂
You still want her in a few days though, right?
Wynaut?
I was beginning to think you didn’t want her anymore ;_;
It is most likely the last update before Pokemon Bank so maybe they added Sacred Fire and all that now?
I know right?!!!
I did cool! Diamond storm! Tho its depressing about the red herring.
I dont get that part
Niether do I but I think its just a rock.
Haha yeah. I NEED POKEBANK. ALL THE STUFF WE CAN LEARN ABOUT CHANGES IN POKEMON FROM PREVIOUS GENERATIONS. like you guys always say: MY BODY IS READY!!!
Lemme Calculate the base stats…give me a sec
How can you do that? You my friend are awesome!!!
Seems that those level 100 stats aren’t 31/31/31/31/31/31….so only guess I can make…..sadly 🙁
Oh ok they say that they are not ev trained. You know what I just realized? With updates like what this article is about and events couldn’t we technically get more megas the only way to get mega blaziken is event
I hope so!

Nothing much. So happy to finally see some news about legendaries. And if you knew me I would go insane right now. Don’t like when people answer saying the sky. But I am too happy right now
I’m sorry 🙂 yea it is exciting to see more news about these guys
Haha no problem. And yeah. You should have seen me when new news came for x and y it was like AZ seeing his floette after many years
XD good to know though so I dont bug you lol.It was that amazing ^.^ the AZ floette scene is really beautiful
I KNOW. I WANT ONE. FLOETTE IS A GREAT POKEMON. GIVE ME THE AWESOME LOOKING FLOETTE. MY PRECIOUS
Right it looks amazing I love original Floette of course but AZs looks really cool 😀
:O wow that is amazing ^.^
Steam Blast is going to be epic…
wanna join our multi?
Sorry…I can’t right now
Hyperspace Hole could be pretty epic as well, an attack that never misses and can hit through protect…I only hope it isn’t a 2 turn attack like Phantom Force
it is. :3
It doesn’t specify wether it is or not…it just says it creates a hole that Hoopa jumps into and appears next to the target
Diancie-Carbink relationship, just make it happen. Otherwise one Alomomola will die every day.
as if I don’t do it already.
Oh yeah I forgot they didn’t relate luvdisc and alomomola. But come on the jewel pokemon looks just like carbink and rock fairy

@star_bits:disqus Can we trade? what do you want? can you pick a larvitar so I know whats up for grabs?
pick a larvitar?
below @hockerj23:disqus asked you to pick one.
ahh ok ill do it in a min
wait can you name them coronus and Dracula?
are you not going to breed with them yourself? you want to just outright use them?
no, I take 4 or 5 as perfect. Thanks!
Just so you don’t have to scroll down. Male missing Speed. Female missing Defense
can I take the female please?
You got it! Any name or just gonna use it to breed?
ill just use it to breed, please.
Aye aye. I’ll get online for ya. Any male Nidoran you have to spare will work. Thank you very much
Thanks. ive been breeding other things so my rivalry ones only have 2 perfects max.
Fine with me. I have nothing to start with, so that’ll help me in my process
Thanks! do you want the female variant also?
Nope, that’s fine. I just wanted the male
male! Mail me the male!
Male is yours. Name?
Lemme think.
You can’t name it “Oh, Godzilla”. Any other name is allowed
Lols, I was gonna choose between that and Appalachia, So yeah.
I named mine Oh, Godzilla 😛 So you want Appalachia?
Yeppers. I was thinking about Godzilla. not oh, . . .
Lol, I’m just messing. You can name him Godzilla if that’s what you want
No no no. I think Appalachia is better IMO.
Naming him right now and then I’ll send a trade request
Do you want a max sp.def riolu with a lot of awesome egg moves?
That’s cool with me
perfect IV sp.def not max Evs,
On Jan. 1 Operation Perfect Finn will begin! (If anyone knows don’t tell and I wont answer guesses.
What does that mean?
its a pokemon I’m breeding trying for my first absolutely perfect.
Oh…………………….can you tell your favorite luigi who it is…………please?
no, I cant tell fire ball luigi.
……………………can you tell me then……your favorite luigi301?
you mean the luigi301? no.
What? And fine………………can you tell me?
no.
Fine. But what did you mean the luigi301?
you
Must be Magikarp
Maybe its Maybelline.
My guess to base stats:
Diancie: 50/100/150/100/150/50 ~600 BST
Hoopa: 80/100/70/140/130/80 ~600 BST
Volcanion: 70/120/120/120/100/70 ~600 BST
Wait there is no 100/100/100/100/100/100 of this region? If there is another region after X and Y there is a hint.
You missed a stat for diancie
woops 150 Spdef
You do know we have an official total, right?
link?
I don’t have it, but I’ve seen it. Don’t take my word for it tho.
yeah i remember someone say that diancie stats were like carbink stats + 30 in every stat except speed
Do you believe the supposed base stats for mega latios and latias
I haven’t seen them but using pokebeaches’s stats, and assuming 3 stats are 30~31 IVs cuz they are not in any egg group I made my guess. It can still be inaccurate but this is the vicinity.
Just google it. They are very high stats and are probably wrong because pokebeach says latias is not fairy
Well after them being the same typing, I don’t believe the abilities, but the stats make some sense I guess
You know what remember “those” people who weren’t the biggest fans of the little amount of new pokemon? You guys should only be happy with these games. They can continue delivering with the updates and events.
BUT NO MORE MEGAS!!!!!
Why??? I am still waiting for mega starters.
I don’t know that thing on poke beach said so… i guess no me gas for nova or kalos and no mega every starter… NO MEGA SCEPTILE :*(
Hey who gave the down vote megas starters are awesome
#teamrealevolutions
^^
Real evolutions are awesome. Would like everything pre evos evos mega evos
…after they release mega zoroark, dragonite, and arcanine 😀
Mega Arcanine with even more Defense? Yes please! :3
I heard the first trailer of Cocoon of Destruction will be shown on tomorrow’s Pokemon GetTV. Don’t take it as the 100% truth, because IDK. XD Also, here is the Trailer of Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter. (IDK if anyone posted it.) Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIgZ0-u_miQ
shinynoiverrn already did but dem legends doe
Sorry for my absences guys! [dunno if anyone actually noticed but .. XD;]
I’m just taking a break from pokemon y because..welll… look at that playtime. i think i’ve been playing too much and almost completely stopped my other hobby, drawing D: !
anyways, wow i didnt know that snooping thing was going on o__o might explain some extreme predictions that goes on in the wifi battles i was in, though i know a lot of people won’t like that instacheck getting uninstalled xD
I hate that. I do it legit.
i keep complaining to my friend about how i want to get shinies but he said its a waste of time and id be better off doing the instacheck D: i refuse to! ;3;
Have you downloaded Miiverse? Tons of drawing to do there xD!
not yet oxo but i mean from like paint sai and such, on the computer c:
GO TO POKEBEACH!!!
Who keeps downvoting me?
some derp D:
o.O whats with the dislikes i see on everything?
Just ignore it, trolls on the lose.
ugh XD why do they waste their time
It’s someone who has numerous accounts (TorchicMegaForm, AlphaBraviary, YoungsterJoey, etc). Whenever Afarr comments, they all like his post, and if it gets downvoted, they downvote everyone else.
Really? o_O But you have been in PJ longer so you know better than I do XD
It’s what I’ve noticed over time. Happens every time.
Any ideas for a Friday the 13th inspired pokemon?
a black cat
-paints meowth black-
-paints espurr black-
-paints purrloin and glameow black- we got the black cats ready!
can delcatty count too xD
aww how cute a downvoter
Right this is my second I would apologize if I offended you ^.^ but its happening to everyone. It really is adorable I had a dream of getting downvotes and it made me happy xD
yes!
PLAGUE DOCTOR
Something wearing a hockey mask
But pokemon can’t play Hockey.lol
Jason Vorhees 😛
I know.xD
Maybe like a wall mirror (or a hand mirror that evolves into a wall mirror, would probably be Steel/Normal), it would have an ability similar to zen mode, where if it is hit by a physical move it would break and become a Steel/Ghost type (?)
Just an idea…
@hockerj23:disqus Thanks! and sorry I wasn’t paying attention!
You’re welcome! Thank you as well
arg! I forgot to nice yu! I usually do!,
rogue downvoter.
Hello all, Chandy here! Haven’t been here for a while due to MAJOR family problems, but I won’t get into detail. How have you all been doing?

I guess I forgot**
OMG IKR? I prefer it to the first movie. less talking.
Apparently mine doesn’t need repair. Should I still update?
you have to for online activity. And I accindentily got X 1.2 instead of Y like I have.
yes, for using online services, btw do you watch survivor:O?
Why yes, I do! How did you know? 😉
the username lol, who do you rooting for?
Ciera. But I think Tyson’ll win.
SORRY FOR GETTING OFF TOPIC
Ciera is the only one that actually playing alongside with tyson she is the only one i think got a chance at winning against tyson. i hate monica._.
SORRY FOR GETTING OFF TOPIC TOO
I’m happy for Monica only because she made it WAY further than last time.
AND SHE SHOULD’VE VOTED GERV!!!
Super sorry last comment about Survivor (I think :p)
